I bought a pair of women's shoes yesterday at Marshall's. The Price with the tax was $44.09. I had only hundred dollar bills, so I gave a cashier $100 and nine cents. While I was doing it her co-worker came up and they began to discuss something. At this point she was counting my change and talking to her co-worker at the same time. It was pretty rude because I was still there waiting and felt me being there wasn't that important for both of them. So I was just happy to get my change and get out of there.
When I got home I looked at the receipt and realized that the cashier put $80 instead of $100, and gave me $36 instead of $56: shortchanged me by $20.
I went back next day, which is today to fix the mistake. However, after over thirty minutes wait the manager came out and told me that they checked, and that they came to the conclusion that I actually gave a cashier $80.
Now, first of all, I had only hundreds on me. Second, it obviously would make any sense for the person in a clear mind to give $20+$20+$20+$20 in order to get that exact $20 back. But the manager, Andrea M informed me that that's exactly what I did.
So, I have to inform you that you got some dishonest management . Extra money had been stolen after closing the register. And when the next day it was time to answer for it -- they simply turned the customer away.
I include pictures of the merchandise with price and the receipt.
Please, return my money!
