On Thursday, October 7, I bought a refrigerator at Lowe's, using my credit card #[protected]. Lowe's promised to deliver the refrigerator Wednesday, October 13 and remove our old refrigerator. On October 11 we removed the old refrigerator to imrove the space for the new refrigerator. On October 12, Lowe's called and said delivery would not be the 13th and would be delayed until Saturday, October 16. On Friday, October 15, Lowe's called and said delivery Saturday would be between 3-7PM. But on Saturday, at 6:30 PM, Lowe's called and said delivery would not happen because the delivery truck broke down. Instead, delivery would be on Monday, October 18. On Sunday, Lowe's called and said delivery Monday would be between 5-9PM. We live in Rancho Mirage in Southern California where the temperature now is in the 90's virtually every day. Because we now have no refrigerator or freezer, we threw a great deal of food away. We buy ice twice daily and cannot purchase items which must be frozen because we are only able only able to keep items cold. The ice melts overnight which creates some risk in some items.
