AMC Theatres

I went to AMC Bonita Plaza today, July 20th, 2023 to see Oppenheimer. The A/C stopped working maybe 1/3 left in the movie. Many people were fanning themselves while I used napkins to absorb the sweat. It had to be around 84 degrees. I went to Guest Services to let them know and the response was, "Yeah it's an issue with a few theatres. We put a service ticket to address it. It's at the lowest temp." This ruined the movie experience. And wished the staff would have provided iced water or even knowledge it. It could be a safety concern for some.

The food was not good either. I got the huge pretzel and a friend got pretzel bites. Both tasted like ink or propane.

I drove about 30 minutes to this theatre to watch this move in IMAX opening night. After the movie, my group was questioning why continue to go to AMC when there are other theatre with better seating, better food, and provide a better movie experience. I will skip AMC for a while.
