I don't know how often you check up on your franchises but the location in La Mesa California is a wreck. The furniture looks like it came from a secondhand store, and the medical staff does the cleaning. I know because I saw the young man in scrubs who did my eye exam vacuuming the carpet with a vacuum cleaner that had to be 50 years old. That's ironic because on one of my many previous visits I remember looking at an incredibly dirty floor and wondering if they had a cleaning crew, and they do, their medical staff.
I went into this store for this first time on May 19th. It is now July 24th and I still do not have both pairs of glasses I paid nearly $600.00 for. The first prescription was wrong. I went in wearing reader glasses and walked out with tri-field progressives which were completely wrong for me, so I had to take them back. In the meantime, I stupidly took my 17-year-old there to get glasses and while I appreciate the same day service, the way they were returned to us is unacceptable. The bridge and frames were bent, and the temples were crooked and uneven. I have a video of how bad the temples were.
On July 4th I got a text that my glasses were ready. I went in on Friday July 21st to pick them up. They couldn't find them. I was told the employee who helped me was off that day and to come in the following day, which I did, and they still could not find them. I asked, "didn't you call," and he said "yes, but he didn't pick up!" Like this is somehow my fault.
I have been to this store over a dozen times since May 19th, and out of all those visits, I was greeted upon entry maybe once or twice. My first visit was a scheduled appointment which was 30 minutes late, and I honest to God wish I had just walked out. They gave no information; I had to go and ask. I sat down for 15 minutes before anyone said anything to me, so in a way it is my fault because I chose to stay when very clearly all signs were telling me to run very far away.
I received a phone call today, and they still can't find my glasses. I wish I had gone anywhere else for glasses; I would even choose Kaiser over Stanton at this point. This entire experience has been an utter nightmare and I wished I never set foot in this dirty, unfriendly, unorganized store.
Desired outcome: A better store with better employees.
