Aspen Dental - New evaluation by another dentist

On Friday 0/10/2021, I had an appointment with Dr. X? they never told me his name. I am requesting Dr. Zeng to complete the job because I think Dr. X did an awful job preparing for the crown.
3/4 of my tooth is gone, when the tooth never bothered me. This doctor was way too fast preparing for the crown yesterday. I don't believe he took reasonable care taking into account using a drill that goes so many revolutions per second on my small tooth.
I have been a Certified Dental Assistant for over 20 years. I graduated in 1987 with the Expansion Dental Assistant certification and I kept my certification for 10 years consecutively, which made me a CDA for life, according to the ADAA. I have worked as a CDA well into my two master's degrees as a Mental Health Counselor. I am requesting to be seen by another dentist because my temporary crown fell off less than 24 hours after being placed. There is a small amount of tooth left without any retention to cement the permanent crown. That dentist drilled away most of the tooth including the good part of the tooth. The temporary crown was done horrible, and the assistant that placed it did an even worse job cementing it; though the horrible temporary crown was done by the dentist himself, that was also done horribly, making it difficult for the assistant to do a good job. However, she did not dry the tooth, and as we know saliva is a lubricant and cement does not adhere to tooth enamel if the tooth is not clean and dry.
Dr. X while preparing the crown was telling the assistant to be a step ahead of him. I felt this was insulting to his assistant as nobody can read minds and I was embarrassed for her.
Dr. X should have stayed and finished the temporary crown himself. Instead, he left the room to chat in another room. I was the last patient and Dr. X left a challenging job for the assistant as bad as the temporary was made by him. I am not sure if the tooth can be fixed with a good outcome, but I am requesting another doctor to attempt to do so. I will not go through unnecessary trouble and pain because he doesn't want to take the time to do the restoration with calm. He also caused me a lot of pain with the plastic instrument as he packed the cord damaging the lingual part of my gums. Because of my professional experience, I know that the way my tooth is after the prep would need some type of retention (pins, post, buildup) If he did a buildup is gone when the crown comes off. I have few teeth left, and they are important to me because I have been this way for the past 30 years of my life and I need them to eat well. If Dr. X did not care about doing a better job because I am older, that is awful and below the standards of professional medical care for those in great need of compassionate people. If you cannot assist me with Dr. Zeng, then please refund the procedure amount and I will have a good crown done elsewhere this week. I think we can all work together to get the best results. Right now, I am not very happy. I would also like a second opinion on my tooth the way it is now, before we go any further. Please schedule me with Dr. Zeng or another doctor for a second opinion.
