I placed an online on 12/23/20 for 4-5pm picking on 12/24/20. Left my Christmas family get together in order to do my part of the commitment. After checking in, I waited for approximately an hour. I received a text stating my order was cancelled. I'm sure you realize my frustration by this and the inconvenience of leaving my loved ones for Christmas and not receiving any food for the holidays. This is why I placed an order so that I would have food and beverages; now i'll be out when I could've shopped elsewhere. Don't appreciate the inconvenience, during the holidays especially. If you say my order is ready it should be ready. I'll shop elsewhere from now on. Bad taste in my mouth for walmart now and will definitely share what happened. That was wrong and the management has terrible judgment to do this to others. The manager said this was so the employees could go home in time but failed to realize how they left others in the dark during these times! Dont say youre pickup is ready and have people sit there for an hour for nothing! Never ever again
Desired outcome: They should’ve cancelled before we sat there for an hour+. My desired outcome is following thru with what you say you’re going to do. Left my family Christmas for NOTHING and now everyone is gone.
