Popeyes

I ordered chicken nuggets and cajun fries, which the fries were $4.99--too expensive. When I got to the window to pay for my order, I handed my card to the clerk who then handed me my receipt, when I noticed I had been charged twice for tax, totaling 20% tax. I asked the employee about it and was told nothing could be done. I then asked for the manager, who was very ugly and told me Popeyes couldn't do anything about it, to contact the government. I asked her to refund me the extra 10% tax and she wouldn't, saying that would make her short. She absolutely refused to do anything at all about the overcharging of the taxes. much less the high cost of the fries, being hateful in the process. I told her she had lost my business and that I wanted my money back. Overcharging people in both the menu prices and doubling the taxes due is not the way to keep regular customers. Before today, I was a regular. Unless Popeyes can correct the double-charging of taxes and not charge too much for its items, I will take my business elsewhere.
