Famous Footwear

Yesterday 2/9 your 5th Ave Mall location was robbed. My child was present for that robbery and witnessed the intruder with a knife. The Security Guard tried to intervene but was punched in the nose to where he was bleeding profusely. The initial thought of my daughter was to ensure the safety of the staff/customer and lock the perpetrator in the store until law enforcement arrived. I believe this was an act of heroism and judgement. She was then told by someone in California that her actions can get her terminated and your Assistant District Manager was also informed that some merchandise has blood on it but was told to clean it up and box it up for sale. This is unsanitary and not acceptable especially because I am a customer of Famous Footwear and a mother. I demand you investigate these issues and instead of reprimanding my daughter's heroic efforts, award her! Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
