Unsold.com Review: Shady Business Practices and No Refunds for Cancelled Flights
Yo, so I gotta talk about Unsold.com. I booked a trip to the Maldives for July 4th, but thanks to COVID, my flight got cancelled. So I hit up Unsold to let them know what was up, but they straight up took my money and didn't give me nothin' in return. That's some shady business, man. It ain't right that they can just take my money like that when it's outta my control. I tried to reschedule my trip for a later date when I could actually get a flight, but they ain't done nothin' about it. Isaac Okorafor here, and I'm feelin' pretty defrauded and ripped off by these guys. Ain't no justice in that.

Unsold.com Review: Lack of Transparency and Customer Support
I recently had an experience with Unsold.com and I must say, it wasn't a very pleasant one. I purchased a voucher that was supposed to be redeemable within 24 months, but to my surprise, I found out that many dates were not available at all. This information was not clearly stated before I made the purchase, which left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
To make matters worse, when I tried to contact their support team, I found out that they only offer support through their website and do not have a phone or live chat option. I submitted a support ticket, but all I received was an automatic confirmation of receipt. I was hoping for a response that would go beyond that, but unfortunately, it never came.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Unsold.com as a trustworthy business. It's important to be transparent with customers about availability and to offer reliable customer support. In this case, both were lacking. If you're considering using Unsold.com, I advise against it.
Unsold.com Scam: Cancelled Reservations and No Refund from BookVIP
I bought some reservations through Unsold.com, but when I checked with the hotel, they said that our reservations were cancelled. We didn't get any notice about this, and we didn't get a refund either. It turns out that our credit card was charged by BookVIP, but they didn't tell us anything about the cancellations. When we called the hotel, they said that our "travel agent" cancelled the reservations, and they couldn't do anything about it. We tried to contact BookVIP, but they said that we were out of luck and money because Unsold.com is no longer in business. We're trying to dispute the charges with our credit card company right now.
Unsold.com Review: Read the Fine Print Before Booking Your Vacation
Yo, listen up! If you're thinking about booking a vacay on Unsold.com, you gotta read their terms and conditions, cuz they don't mess around. They say all reservations are final, non-refundable, and non-amendable. So, if you change your mind or something comes up, you're outta luck, my friend.
And don't even think about trying to split up or combine your vacation package days, cuz they won't let you do that either. They got some heavily discounted saver rate, and they're stickin' to it.
Now, I gotta tell ya, I had a little problem with my booking. I wanted to stay in Santorini for 5 nights, but I could only book 3 nights in one hotel. I tried to book the other 2 nights, but it just wasn't workin'.
So, I sent some emails back and forth with Unsold, and they offered me two options that were pretty reasonable. I gotta give 'em credit for that. And, after we worked it out, they even called me to confirm the solution. That was a nice touch.
Overall, I'd say Unsold.com is a decent option if you're lookin' for a good deal on a vacation. Just make sure you read the fine print and know what you're gettin' into.
Unsold.com Review: Terrible Experience, Scam Alert, Do Not Use!
Unsold.com is a website that I would not recommend to anyone. I had a terrible experience with them that left me feeling ripped off and frustrated. I booked a reservation through their website and paid for it in full. However, 12 days before my trip, I received an email from Unsold stating that I had requested a refund and that my reservation had been canceled. This was completely untrue. I had never asked for a refund and had no idea why my reservation had been canceled.
I tried to contact Unsold to find out what was going on, but their customer service was terrible. I was put on hold for long periods of time and was eventually told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I was left with no choice but to book another hotel room at the last minute, which ended up costing me four times the amount I had originally paid Unsold.
This experience was a complete scam and I would caution anyone against using Unsold.com. If a website is asking for reviews before you even go on your trip, it's probably because many people have had issues with them. I wish I had done more research before booking with Unsold, but I hope that my experience can serve as a warning to others. Don't be stupid like me and trust this website with your hard-earned money.
Unsold.com Review: Mixed Experience with Last-Minute Deals
I've had the chance to use Unsold.com twice now, and I must say, it's been a mixed experience. The first time around, I was looking for a place to stay in a popular destination, and I did get three offers that were better priced than what I could find elsewhere. However, I must say that the discounts were not as great as they claim on their website.
The second time around, I was looking for a place to stay in a different destination, and I got three choices. However, two of the choices were for the same hotel, and I could find a cheaper rate on other websites. The other hotel that I was offered did not look particularly great either.
I must admit that my dates were during peak time, which I knew would limit my options. However, I appreciate that Unsold.com gives you the opportunity to change your destination after you've paid. This is something that most other websites do not allow.
Overall, I think Unsold.com is worth a try, especially if you're looking for a last-minute deal. However, don't expect to find the best deals out there. It's always a good idea to compare prices on other websites before making a final decision.
Deceived by Unsold.com: Booked Banff, Got Canmore
So, I was hyped to go on a family trip to Banff, Alberta and decided to book through Unsold.com using a 3 day voucher. I searched for hotels and found Sunset Mountain Inn and Spa, which was listed as a Banff destination. I made the booking and was all set for mid JULY 2021. However, when I decided to check out the directions to the hotel, I found out that it was located 25 kms and 21 minutes outside of Banff in a completely different town called CANMORE. I was like, what the heck? I feel like I've been bamboozled.
I checked the reservation screen shot and there was no indication that the hotel was located in CANMORE. I mean, seriously? Now, I'm stuck trying to explain to my family why we're staying in the cheaper and less popular town of CANMORE for our BANFF trip. It's a bit of a bummer, to be honest.
I'm hoping that Unsold.com can do something to fix this. It's not cool to deceive customers like this. I mean, we booked for Banff, not CANMORE. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done at this point, but it would be nice if they could at least acknowledge the mistake and try to make it right. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Unsold.com.
Unsold.com Review: Cheap Prices, Good Customer Service, But Beware of Unauthorized Charges
So, I decided to give Unsold.com a try for my upcoming trip. I created an account and started to do some research on hotels. At first, I was excited to see that the prices were very cheap. However, as I dug deeper, I realized that all the prices were in US dollars, even for Australian hotels. I mean, come on, this is an American website, so I guess it makes sense, but still, it was a bit of a letdown.
Anyway, I had some concerns about different things, so I sent several emails to the company. To my surprise, I always got a prompt reply. I was impressed by their customer service. However, last week, I noticed that $79 US dollars had been taken out of my account without my authorization. I was not happy about this, so I immediately contacted Unsold.com. They responded quickly and promised to refund the money. However, it has been 7 days now, and I still haven't received my money back. To make matters worse, the website is currently under construction, which is making me even more nervous.
I sent another email to the company, and once again, they responded promptly, saying that the issue had been resolved. However, I still haven't received my money back. I am starting to get worried about what is going on with this company. I hope they can sort out this issue soon because I don't want to lose my money. Overall, I think Unsold.com has some potential, but they need to work on their currency conversion and customer service.
Unsold.com Review: Great Deal, Terrible Payment Process
So, I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a sweet deal for a 5-day, 4-night trip to Santorini for only USD 316! I was stoked and immediately tried to make the payment. But, guess what? The gateway rejected my card and I didn't get any confirmation of the booking. I thought it was an unsuccessful transaction, but later on, I found out that my credit card was charged! What the heck, man?
I was so frustrated that I had to make international calls to my bank to inform them about the situation. They told me that they could only block my card to prevent any further suspicious charges. I had to contact the merchant myself to validate the transaction. It was such a hassle, and I was not happy about it.
But, to be fair, Unsold.com responded quickly to my complaint and investigated the issue. They found out that the payment failed in the midst of gateways after two days, and the credit card charge cancellation took about 7 days. However, they did not explain why or how the root cause of the transaction bug.
Overall, I'm not too impressed with Unsold.com. The deal was great, but the payment process was a nightmare. I hope they can improve their system to avoid these kinds of issues in the future.
Unsold.com Hotel Deal Review: Blocked Weeks and Misrepresented Quality
I recently bought a weeklong hotel stay in Bangkok from Unsold.com for $216, which included fees. However, I have to say that it was not a good deal. When I checked their calendar for the remaining months of 2021, I found that more than half of the weeks were completely blocked, even though they were not holiday weeks. It didn't matter if I looked for mid-week travel or weekend, the results were consistently blocked.
Moreover, I noticed that at least one of the hotels was rated 3.5 stars on TripAdvisor, which means that Unsold.com misrepresented the available hotel quality. Most of the hotels, if available, were of passable quality at best. I also found that no national or international chains were options. And to top it off, most of the hotels had lower or equal weekly rates if you booked them separately, and were without penalty for cancellation.
In my opinion, this was definitely not a 75%+ off deal. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for better rates with better flexibility and no refund request hassles. Although Unsold.com has agreed to refund my price paid, I am still skeptical if that will happen.
Overall, I would not recommend Unsold.com to anyone looking for a good deal on a hotel stay. The blocked weeks and misrepresented hotel quality make it a less than ideal option.
I have booked 3 holidays with them and never heard a word from them. Never even knew they went out of business until I checked into booking my holidays. I have emailed so many times. The form just keeps saying I am on the list. So much time has passed.
