You're calling me every day sending my garbage mail trying to reward me if I get a vaccine or a flu shot! I will never ever get those killer shot! I have not gotten the flue for over twenty year because I figure where it gets and stopped 20 plus years ago stop calling me and emailing me anything about FLU or Vaccines! They both kill a lot of people!

Venous systems, inc tax is [protected] is a provider with an authorization number a107121581 for mr. Dennis zubricky dos [protected] for a lymphedema pump and leg sleeves received. We are demanding that united health care pay this claim as it has been reviewed by medical review and was given an authorization number referenced above. We have called numerous times and are demanding this claim be paid immediately since we have followed your protocol and the patient has been authorized to obtain this equipment. Now we have been told to appeal the claim why? This has an authorization on file prior to dispensing the equipment. We as a dme provider were contacted to work with uhc as an out of network provider to make sure patient was serviced since there are no other providers who carry this equipment. This is a tactic that is being weaponized against us as we have sent in all the documentation and hcfa claim for the amount of $2000.00. For codes e0651 pneumatic compressor and e0667 leg sleeve bilateral. This equipment has an authorization number and is rightfully assigned and needs to be paid with interest.

United HealthCare Services UHC Dual Complete - Healthy Food Benefit

If you lose or misplaced your healthy food benefits card and request a replacement card, you will most likely lose any unspent benefits remaining on the card for the month in which you lost the card.

UHC Dusl Complete provides a HealthyvFood Benefits card that gives you a $30/month benefits. In general. this is a great benefit. Not huge, but every little bit helps. The benefit does not roll over month to month and any unspent balance is forfeited after the end of the calendar month. UHC is up front about this policy and, in general, I have no issue. However, members need to be aware that they can quite easily lose one month's worth of benefits. This will happen under the follow conditions;

1. You lose or misplace your card. The first mistake members make is spending time looking for the lost card. DONT DO THIS. If you lose or misplace your card, report it immediately, even if it has only been gone a few minutes..

The one exception is if you are pretty sure you know where the card is. I spent an entire week looking for mine and this came back to bite me late

The next thing to be aware of is that your current card will be canceled the second it is reported lost. This means that you will be locked out of any unspent funds for the month until your new card arrive and is activated.

You will be told that you new card will take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Ours took 4 weeks and 4 days. We have no idea why this was the case.

Here's why you lose money: If your replacement card arrives after the end of the current month, your remaining benefits for the month just ended are forfeited.

I request a refund for the foreited month because the new card took so long to arrive. I would have probably let it go except that when the person from UHC called me back to let me know the status of my request, they left me a voice message The message was quite rude and the rep acted as if I was breaking some kind of law by requesting a variance on their policy.

This upset me because I had literally called UHC 7 times about t his issue. I didn't think others should incur the same loss if a little education could avoid it.

My recommendation would I ld be:

a) Spend your monthly benefit in its entirety as close to the 1st of the month as possible. That way, any loss of benefit will be minimal, if any.

b, ) Spend no more than a day looking for lost card.

c) If your replacement card has not arrived after 7 days, call UHC daily until the replacement arrives.

United HealthCare Services Prescription denied

My physician prescribed metaxalone for severe muscle cramps. My doctor knows my medical history over the past 25 years which includes a number of orthopedic issues. Optum denied the RX stating that the doctor had to get prior authorization and after 2 appeals and receipt of the requested information from my doctor, continued to deny the Rx saying that I needed to take other lesser drugs (which I had already taken without relief). I eventually paid for the Rx out of pocket after more than 2 days of terrible pain from muscle spasms.

Customer Service for United HealthCare and Optum were both AWFUL!

United HealthCare Services Denial of coverage

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It is still small And my doctor recommended prostate artery embolization to help shrink the prostate instead of chemo or complete removal. Both of those would drastically reduce my quality-of-life at the age of 48. Prostate artery embolization would get me anywhere from 3 to 10 years of relief from symptoms until the cancer grows enough to warrant the worst treatments. United keeps denying me this treatment. Saying it's too experimental even though Medicare covers it already. Why do they want me to suffer instead of help? My name is jeremy adler cell phone number [protected]. Cancel my Dental Plan and Refund my money

Dear United Health Care:

I am very unsatisfied with the dental Insurance I purchase on or near December 7, 2019. I was told by the salesmen who sold me this policy that I would need to pay the payment every month for the next year before I could use it for major dental work and then my dental bills for major work would be paid at 50%. I was also told I could get cleanings and other mon major work done then as well and these would be fully paid.

I have been paying the monthly premium of $62.76 faithfully since that time. Then on Monday 11/30/2020 I called your company to talk about the details of my dental insurance and was told by the CSR I spoke with that I had no waiting period and that any major work, such as crowns would be paid at 10% and NOT 50%.

I then called I my dental office and was told that a crown would cost around $1270. What this means is that 10% of that amount would be $127. Well this is totally ridiculous! I paid a total of $690.36 and my dental bill for a crown I need would be paid at only $127? Why in the world would I have this if this is all I would get?

I believe the man who sold me this policy lied to me and misrepresented what I would be getting. I believe he saw me as a senior citizen he could simply rip off. Well, I may be older, but I am not stupid. So here is what I want. I WANT A FULL REFUND OF THE MONEY I PAID ($690.36) INTO THIS SO CALLED Dental Insurance policy. I ALSO WANT TO CANCEL THIS POLICY IMMEDIATLY.

By the way, I did not write down the salesman's name but since all companies are now run electronically, I am sure you have a record of his name. The other thing I intend to do is contact my local news agencies and the insurance regulating agencies to let them know how I was deceived and scammed.

United HealthCare Services Unethical behaviour

I have been trying via repeated phone call since 1/14/2021 to be unenrolled from the united healthcare community plan. I have spoke to no less than 12 cs agents, one of which couldn't understand english and asked me to spell the words to her, and lisa the care coordinator on my account and have gotten nowhere. It is just lie after lie after lie, excuse after excuse after excuse and transferred around to every where, requested a supervisor and left on hold for 51 minutes. On 2/8/2021 jonathan who stated he was a supervisor told me gave me # 21g001311046 as confirmation of my cancellation which would be effective 3/1/2021 only to find out it was nothing more that a call confirmation number and had absolutely nothing to do with my unenrollment. Jonathan also told me that I could not unenroll without approval from medicare. I contacted medicare directly and was told and I quote "I don't know why they told you that, we have nothing to do with you unenrolling from their plan which you can do at any time". On 2/15/2021 cs person raya told me the same thing so I inturn called medicare again and got the same response "uhc should not be telling you to call medicare to unenroll - you can do it at any time". I spoke to sales agent george online on 1/14/2021, which I have saved the entire conversation, who stated "I can enroll at any time and do not need approval from medicare and I do not need proof of other insurance". After numerous phone calls on 2/16/2021 with cs and the dec dept supposedly I was told by clarissa, to fax a written request to be disenrolled. While on hold waiting for clarissa, cs person alexis kept checking on me while on hold and said that it should only take a week for my request to be processed. I typed it up, signed it and dated it as instructed and faxed it in to the number given [protected]. After the receipt confirmation page printed, I faxed my written request and the receipt confirmation page again to document proof of receipt, and received a printed receipt confirmation page for the second fax. There is no reason to have insurance when everything your doctor orders is denied.

I was told that I cannot disenrol from United Healthcare (Medicare Part D). I have to wait until October 2021. The only reason that works is to accuse them of fraud. I am going to resign anyway, because it costs $99 per month and they pay for nothing. Speaking to Medicare also does not work. Crooks and thieves in our midst!

United HealthCare Services Acceptance of a claim

UHC is not communicating with the regional provider about policy coverage from a claim with service date March 28, 2020. WellMed only shows the policy was in effect on May 1, 2020. Every UHC rep in the phone has told me to do something different every time. The provider has submitted a claim, but they get a denial - policy was not in effect till May 21, 2020. I have emailed, called, faxed, and mailed USPS the same set of forms 3 times! Now again, I have been told the to do the same process for the 3rd time. The people answering the 800 phone lines DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO! I have had the Medicare AARP policy since 2015. Very disappointed. Facing suit by the provider.

I pay almost a THOUSAND dollars a month through COBRA only to suddenly have to pay for each rx out of pocket- how sad they are not satisfied making 850 dollars a month off of me- it is clear they discriminate against COBRA members- they feign shock with Caremark yet NEVER send nor supply any info regarding how to go between the two- ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC...greedy, lazy, with reps from other countries that are inclined to hang up with screaming family members in the background...like it is MY responsibility to search for random details that make ZERO sense after being on the same plan, with the same pharmacy, the same provider...ABSURD and be forewarned...they will do EVERYTHING they can to get you to drop coverage!

Desired outcome: Being treated like a NORMAL customer, or even below as before.

United HealthCare Services Health Benefits Plus with Walmart Service

This is the worst -- a lousy monopoly insurance company hooking up with a lousy retail monopoly. More irrefutable proof that we live in a corporatocracy that has never been a democracy.

The 2021 OTC benefit isn't worth the trouble nor the cost. As with regular online ordering from the Waltons family store, you must order at least $35, or you will be charged $5.99 for shipping. Even if your purchase totals $34.86 or $34.99 before tax, you incur the shipping charge which will be deducted from the paltry $50 quarterly OTC benefit, and you can't carry even a penny over to the next quarter.

About that $50 quarterly benefit. In 2021, it was dropped from $80/quarter, with the same use it or lose it policy. The monstrosity of corporate American greed is killing US consumers. Just rotten to the core.

Ask of today united health care services suck very bad customer services never listen to your paying person allays have to talk different person for over 1 hours. For this month january have call ever week still nobody care about the customer cares for over four years of all this bad services. It is not free for me still getting cut off/ nobody is calling us back too. Like today got cut off again all I ask them to do is to read the log it is all spell out last year I order black socks got white one not what I order it should be black ones they call not do it ps I all so lost $20.00 last years for a return they will not help me with that one too. Lost $20.00 now another lost about $10.00 help me please thanks you very much wasted two hour today nothing got done [protected] they have my return too. But know socks.

United HealthCare Services Out of network claims

I have had the same UHC policy for over 15 years. My policy states that once I pay my OON deductible and co insurance, my claims are paid at 100%. For years this is the way its gone., and I've had the same doctor for 10 years. He's out of network, but he's wonderful. Suddenly, last October, that changed. My claims are now paid at Medicare rates. What? I have private employer sponsored health insurance. They give me a different answer every time I call or email, and point to the verbiage of their paying 100% of "allowed amount", based on Medicare rates. No one can or will tell me what changed or why Medicare has been introduced into my account.

United HealthCare Services Lack of attention to repeated requests for help.

My daughter has been with Blue Sky Neurology since August 2020. She has attempted to fill her prescription of Botox for my severe migraines for months now. They write back occasionally after she writes them telling her it is in review with you all. It has been under review for over 2 months. They say we can't do anything to facilitate the process. I am frustrated and he is in pain. They have been totally unavailable throughout our experience - you can't even get a person in person on the phone. I do not recommend them they are not efficient and very unprofessional. Please send a new neurologist name to us for future care. I tried to access my records on their site but of course I can't due to some problem.

I make payments usually at least a week before due date.
starting last month, united healthcare is not processing my
payments.
I cannot afford to lose coverage due to payments not being processed. what is the problem with making payments by check?
please look into this!
last month I had to call united healthcare and make my payment on the phone using a credit card. I cancelled my check and the bank charged me $35.00
united healthcare didn't even contact me to inform me

To whom it may concern,

I'm writing this as I sit on hold waiting to take the survey your automatic system asked me to which at his point I have to believe isn't going to happen. Things just changed, a woman named Julie just came on the line and asked if she could help me, when I told her I'd been waiting to take the survey she said this line wasn't meant for surveys and asked was there anything else she could help me with I said no thank you, good bye, and I would include her in my registration form. Anyway the reason I even bothered to write this is because whomever it was I spoke to first had in my opinion kept me from taking the survey as I suspect people have complained about him being hard to understand and rude, God knows that may not be the case but since I'm here I'll tell you what else bothers me!
The reason for my call originally was to find out why my prescription price that averaged around $250 was now $409. You can imagine my surprise when being told you will no longer cover my end of life medication because I've been on it to long. The fact there was no warning, which ended up costing me loads of frustration and time and is being done by United Health Care, a company ranked 7th on the Fortune 500 list and the largest healthcare company in the world with 2019 revenues of $242.2 billion is a dirty shame!

Denial of out of network provider for hysterectomy with complications. They paid for hospital (in network) where procedure was performed, in fact, my doctor has a special operating suite there and brings in many new patients. My doctor requires his payment up front which was $15, 000.
I thought I would receive at least some of that amount back from UnitedHeathcare.
Payment was $1, 798.34 which went to my out of network deductible. I appealed and it looks like doctor used wrong identification numbers. Looks like United Healthcare will get away with not paying any of the original $15, 000.

United HealthCare Services Stat order called in for nebulizer and not received

I have COVID right now. My Dr. called in a STAT order to both Preferred home care and the insurance company - United that I needed this ASAP. This fiasco has been going on since 1/8/21 and here it is 1/14/21 and I still do not have a nebulizer to help keep me alive with my covid. As I am typing this, I have been on hold with United Health for almost an hour.

United HealthCare Services Monthly statements

Over the last 4 months I have had to repeatedly call attempting to get my monthly RX statement which is supposed to be mailed to me. Customer service reps have verified that I am to receive my monthly invoices in the mail and I am promised that this would be corrected. It has not been. Today is January 14th and I have called twice asking for my January statement which they say they will/have mailed. I have no other issues with anyone in terms of receiving my mail on time and I continue to receive other things in the mail from UHC so blaming it on COVID is unacceptable. Furthermore, it takes forever to get through the voice mail "tree" before I am finally connected with someone. Today I asked for a supervisor or manager right away from Selene who then transferred me to Ladarrius who is not a supervisor or manager but promised he would connect me with the right person. I then went through the phone tree again after a long hold and was connected with Velda who is not a supervisor/manager. What does it take ?It is so frustrating and not the level of customer service that I will tolerate any longer. Furthermore, the website for getting invoices on line is ridiculous. It says my password/sign in is invalid. I go through the process of getting a new password, it works the one time, I write the password down and the next time I attempt to log in it tells me my sign in/password is invalid. It is a piece of junk.

I am having the same issue, It is 1-26-21 and still have not received bill for Dec., Jan., and now Feb.
The last time I received an explanation of benefits was July. Like you I have called and called and each time was told it has been taken care of. Yes and like you other people who live in same house receives their statements and explanation of benefits on time. This started happening before Covid so don't even use that as an excuse . I called Medicare and they are filling a complaint report to United, maybe that may make them do their job, because their customer service leaves alot to be desired.

To Whom May Concern, I hope complaint going to the right placed. I was assigned a health plan did not I repeat did not give no authorization at all to the one is responsible for this. I called AT&T company and United Healthcare on Jan. 6 2021 was told going to take care of this with Medicare.gov, in 24hours the way assigned this the way they have to undo, my coverage i had Medicare removed until who did this mess fixed it. This is not a game at this moment I have no medicare coverage I have Parkinson need my medicine have Doctor app. this is a emergency I spoke with Rep from AT&T just have her first name Linda, and first name Laura Unitedhealth care she is the person who said 24hours would take care with Medicare to undo or take me off . I just wanted to follow this up with a complaint. Plan assign UnitedHealthCare Group Medicare advantage(PPO) (H2001-837) and I live for 23 years in Puerto Rico. I hope this get taken care right away.
