United Air Temp Air Conditioning & Heating review: United air temp recommendation: rip up floors in a quest to access a clearly visible and accessible pipe

12/23/2025, I had the worst experience with United Air Temp. Today (12/23/2025) United Air Temp Technicians came out to my residence to address an issue that I'm currently having with a pipe located underneath my kitchen range that is bent/pinched. The technicians advised that they would need to rip up my floors in order to access the pipe. Please note, this pipe is not only visible but also accessible. It's worth noting that in 2021, I experienced the same issue with the pipe under my kitchen range and a supervisor from United Air Temp came out to my residence to not only address the issue but resolve it WITHOUT ripping up my floors.

Additionally, I asked the technician to look up my history with United Air Temp. (service request, resolutions etc.) The technician was able to substantiate that this identical service occurred in 2021, was performed/resolved successfully without ripping up my floors. However, the technician today confirmed that he did not know what to do and that the supervisor from 2021, was no longer employed with United Air Temp... Now, I guess I'll just have to wait for a gas leak!
