Two Men And A Truck International review: Refund policy

I called the location in Omaha, Nebraska on Monday to book two movers to help fill a storage container on Saturday. On Wednesday, when I realized that I did not need the help, I called right away to cancel. The person on the phone that took the cancellation told me that the charge of $100 would "stay with us" and used some other term that I have never heard before. He stated because it was outside of the 7-day cancellation policy, I would have to forfeit the $100. I think this is an absurd policy. I didn't book with a 7-day window because it was a last-minute decision, and there was no way to cancel within a 7-day time frame either. It's not like you are out anything - there are still 3 business days to get that set of movers booked elsewhere. Well you will be out something - my business in the future. We are in the middle of building a new house and selling an our current house. We relocated to an apartment for the time being and were going to use your company to complete the move this spring. No way will we do that now. Hope you enjoy the $100 that you took from us, since the $2,000 dollars we would have spent with you next spring will be going to your competitors.
