I was travelling from Chicago to Colombo Sri Lanka on Turkish Business class. flight from Chicago on the 25th of August.Stay in The Business class lounge for 8 hrs and then the connection to Colombo Sri Lanka.I had the bag in the locker and then security ck before boading flight to Sri Lanka.At the security belt my bag got delayed i was through before the bag. I was wondering why i had only my Cannon camera and my money. Any way on reaching Sri Lanka my cash of $5000 in a envelope was gone.I had the hand bag a Thule carry on all the time with me. The only lapse was at security.

I am writing to complaint about the inconvenience and additional unnecessary financial expenses I had to bear due to Turkish Airways' inefficient handling and delaying of my baggage while travelling from Kathmandu to Houston via Istanbul on 9 th October 2018 by TK 0727 and TK 0033. It never arrived at Houston. If it couldn't handle the luggage at such short connection, it shouldn't have booked me in the first place. And when the airline already made the error of not putting it in the connecting flight, it must have sent it in the next immediate available one, which didn't happen. It arrived only on the second day. Even after arriving to Houston the Turkish Airlines staff never handled the situation gravely. They delayed in handing over the luggage to United Airlines. Delivery was another issue. Nobody I talked to made sure or confirmed the time it was going to be delivered. I had to keep following up to get the update of the situation. While doing this, I had to use someone else's phone and the balance for more than 6 times. I got so stressed, I had to buy medicines which were already in my delayed luggage. Due to jet lag I lost my orientation and balance and this stress resulted in me getting more sick. I had to buy makeup and stuffs for functions I was supposed to attend on 11 October and 12. I dint have clothes/ towels and toiletries. I haven't been able to rest peacefully since I arrived on 9th Oct 10:45 pm. Please refund me for the unnecessary expenses and stress suffered.

the worst and DISHONEST company I ve ever got in contact
On 29th of September I was trying to make a purchase on their websites regards flight ticktes form Brazil to Dublin, on the very last page when it should be appeared my transaction was concluded, the page just went blank! For the rest of the night I ve check my e-mail and my cellphone and I didn't receive any confirmation about my flight or ANY word from the devious company! I ve notice on my bank account that the amount of €600 was being shown as PENDENT! So I called to my manager and he said to me to not worry, that if i DIDNT receive any conformation about the tickets this money will NOT BE PROCESSED! well after 4 days the €600 euros was debited! I ve got in contact with the company and for my surprise they found the tickets that I VE NEVER GOT ANY CONFIRMATION! by that time I wouldnt needed those tickets anymore as I bought another one in the next day after no confirmation!
Well, I explained the whole history to a staff, I opened a process to complain about the episode and to request my money back, because that would be what a FAIR and HONEST company would do! But today For my surprise I received an e-mail saying that they didn't do anything wrong and that my money WILL NOT COME BACK! I'm horrified! I DEMAND my money back! Because this is DISHONESTY!
so that's my experience with Turkish! If you wanna be stolen and treat in a unfair way, TURKISH AIRLINES IS YOUR COMPANY!

because of the delay we forced to order another domestic flight for all 6 people in the family.my 4 kids were disturbed because we carried them for 2 days on flights.

we flew from Porto to Istanbul on flight TK1452 on 2-10-2018, departing time was 12:15 pm. It got delayed and because of this, we missed the connecting flight from Istambul to Kilimanjaro (TK 0565) departing at 19:50 pm.
Turkish Airlines changed our flight to TK 056 7 departing 24 hours later than our foreseen arrivel, at the 3-10-2018.
Regarding our delayed and misconnection flight, we came before you claiming for the applicable compensation payment for each of us that according to your policy for international flights of 3500 km and over is 600 euros/person.

I am writing in regards to a recent flight we took on October 6, 2018 with Turkish Airlines (Flight TK 0079) in which our luggage did not accompany us on the plane. Once we arrived in San Francisco we had an attendant inform us that our luggage did not go onto the plane we arrived on and would be delayed until it was put on another flight the following day (a full 24 hours later). This was a tremendous inconvenience for several reasons.

We had no toiletries or clothes
My clientele appointment book for my business was inside my luggage
Phone was nearly dead after flying for 16 hours and was without charger
No car keys to drive home (4 hours away)
We were refused accommodations when asked

I would like to be compensated for the phone charger, cord I had to buy in order to arrange a tow truck to pick us up and tow us 214 miles home until our luggage was returned with all items inside. Total charges were $280.10 (see attached receipts)

I am SHOCKED and DISGUSTED by the level of service and behavior that i have received today from Turkish Airlines. I have paid over 1000$! for a business ticket and i was treated like a piece of garbage. Even as i set in Turkish Airlines business lounge i heard many complaints about their service and the way they treat people.

I recommend each person to avoid flying with Turkish Airlines at any cost! they do not even have a system for complaints in the airport on purpose as they now how many people are suffering from their terrible service. I am boycotting them and i will never fly with Turkish airlines again ever. I will make sure to mention this also to all of my business colleagues worldwide

My name is Nadav and a flew today 6/10/18 from Podgorica (Montenegro) to Tel-aviv (Israel) with Turkish Airlines using a connection flight thorough Istanbul

The flight left Montenegro at 10:00 local time, landing in Istanbul at 12:45 local time. The connection from Istanbul to tel-aviv was at 13:30. As i was leaving Podgorica i getting my flight ticket at the TA airport desk in Podgorica airport Usually when flying with a connection you should receive also the connection ticket (Istanul-tel aviv) at the first country you are leaving. It seems strange to me that Turkish Airline Representative did not provided me with a second ticket but he promised "it is a normal procedure and everything ill be ok"

I have landed in Istanbul airport at 12:45 local time (reminding my connection to tel-aviv was at 13:30). When i arrived to international transfers they told me i need to go to Turkish airlines desk and issue a flight ticket (although what Turkish airlines representative in Podgorica said to me) . Istanbul is a high airport and it took me 15 minutes of fast walk with luggage to arrive to Turkish airlines desk.

When i got there i tried to explain the situation but the service team was very rude to me and not co-operative. After stalling me there for 20 minutes "checking" stuff although i mentioned my connection is about to leave they "remembered" that i actually missed the flight and give me a ticket for 6 hours later (!). When i asked why they are doing this and where can i file complaints for this negligence as im a business class client who paid over 1000$ for this ticket!. They told me that they do not know and laughed which is quite ridiculous and offensive

I am now stuck in the airport of Istanbul after TURKISH AIRLINES SCREWED ME OVER.
I beg you do not fly or do business in this compny in anyway what so ever in your life. you will regret it

I work with many lawyers in the commercial field and i am interested in filing a law class action suit against Turkish airlines andor any of its subsidiaries.

I fly on a weekly basis in different countries. Never i have encountered such ignorance from a service provider such as rudeness and the lack of professionalism

I am writting this email personally and behlaf of my other friends who suffered at Istanbul International airport due to unprofessionalism.

My 7 friends and I booked tickets from Mumbai to Kiev on September 16th, 2018. In this trip we had 1 hour and 15 minutes hold on Istanbul airport. However, due to international checking process we reached near gate before 25 minutes but there was no members of Turkish airline's present over there.The gate number was 300 and we asked security guard about route and he sent us towards other gate and there was not even single call for us. As you can check into system that we had connecting flight and we checked into Mumbai International airport then certainly our presence at Istanbul International airport is obvious. And with out giving us a single call at airport they just departed. Moreover my 2 friends reached in airplane somehow because they cleared checking process before us and they told to airhostess about us, but there was no call about us.and on the airport there was no manger and no one listened our situation. After that only thing they want from us to buy new tickets.

Sir, we all want to get back our money because we are students and we suffered a lot of herassmant during this travelling. we booked other flight and it cost us nearly $226 per person. we all want our money back otherwise we have to go to consumer court and also we will post on Twitter and every social media platform. I already attached my flights ticket and my other friends name and passport number and all attached new tickets which we booked and paid 226$.

I already complaint on your mail but nobody give me reply so this is my last try then i will take a step toward you with legal action.

My trip was from Antalya to Casablanca with a stop at
Istanbul airport and change the plane and that on 28 month 9
... The plane heading from Antalya to Istanbul was delayed for two hours and I announced it through the screens and I have pictures, documents and all evidence
When we arrived at Istanbul airport the suffering started so that they did not give us any information about what we would do, how and where to ask ... I went to more than 5 Turkish Airlines offices located at the airport ... and without interest, on the contrary: No information, no guidance.
Dry and rude and I feel guilty .. and every official sends me the second and I move from office to office despite the fatigue and anxiety and all this interest
The airport employees who are supposed to understand that the mistake is a mistake of the company is not the traveler. Instead of dealing well and trying to calm the traveler and find an alternative solution .. They will ask the traveler running from one office to another to bring information to them and they do not speak English Takhilu International Airport receives passengers from all over the world, its employees do not speak English .. very few of them speak .. And more, an international airport does not provide free Internet service,

In short from 7:30 pm to 1:30 pm I am working until I have reached a solution and to the correct information .. Imagine with me that the employee did not bother to tell me that I have the right to stay in a room in a hotel at the expense of the company if I was not I am aware of this and I asked him: I promise you the next day, there is no news about my bags, and no one knows who the officials are and the same story has been repeated .. We have to solve the issue, and it was me who caused the problem and I am not the victim. Another floor did not talk to the Moroccan airlines and finally found out that this office is basically nonexistent, go back and tell it and send me a call N another to ask for bags and Adhb there and wait, and the date of the plane approaching and no signs of resolving information or where they are my bags

They do not bother to give simple information, if I did not ask about overnight to spend the night at the airport ... So if I did not ask them a paper proving that I did not receive my bags .. Because I noticed that I risk the time and will not fly right, I was there, no Backless Bags
And God would not have provided some pictures and provided the translation service on the Internet
And the Internet itself has not reached a solution,
Now I'm back in the country and I have no idea where they are.
Summary: The harsh and bad treatment and incompetence of the staff and the distinction and very clear in their dealings with the Europeans and Americans and their dealings with the Arabs, Africans and Indians (except of course the Gulf Arabs
I found women and men of advanced age and low health and suffered from what I suffered and no one is asked to them despite the obvious fatigue. They are asked by the official to move from one office to another to bring information .. Although it is possible to make a simple phone call to provide the old tired tired worry all that trouble

Dear Turkish Airlines Team,
I'm your regular economy class customer, who prefers to choose Turkish Airlines to any other ones due to a good service and excellent Air crafts condition. But this time, yesterday, on 25.09.2018, when I had to have a Flight TK0626 from Lagos to Istanbul (20:45-05:20), I was quite disappointed with my favourite Air lines.
First of all, passengers were boarded to an Air craft with failed engines, while crew knew about the problem, but still were trying to rectify. Then all passengers were asked to leave Air craft and Flight was cancelled. We were accommodated in Lagos Hotels at 6:00 Hrs.LT, when Flight time was 20:45 previous day. Next day passengers were ready to travel back to Air Port at 14:00 Hrs. LT, but traveling was cancelled. We were advised that Service Engineer for Turkey have to come and depair Air craft. But this never happened. Since 14:00 Hrs.LT on 26.09.2018 passengers are waiting for any news at reception lobby. Some information about new Air craft flying to Lagos from Istanbul was provided to us to travel on it to Istanbul. But at midnight same day 26.09.2018-27.09.2018 nothing happens.
I'm at reception lobby, waiting for my flight more than 24 hours and I don't have any information, when I will finally travel.
This case is simply an expression of fallen standards in Turkish Airlines. If you Company would not care about customers, then customers never choose Turkish Airlines for future travelling as a reliable Air lines.
It will not happen within one day, but it certainly will, showing durable performance of such kind of attitude towards customers at different countries.
I suggest to review your standards otherwise Turkish Airlines would start lose reputation.

So we went to the hotel desk at the airport and the guy told us that this flight is not organize with hotel then he give us directions to this hotel polat reinessence and he told us that they work with this hotel and they're going to charge me only $60 for the night ? When I went there the man at the front desk he told me that he have no idea what's going on and that they don't work with the airport this is 5 star hotel and if I want the room I have to pay $196

I have the complaint about my bag being damaged and my personal things being stolen from it. I was very disappointed in the Airline when my Samsung bag being damaged and expensive items being stolen. I also complained at the time but unfortunately the airline did not comply to my dissatisfaction.
I Really hope that the airline puts its good customer service first and solves my problem as to maintaining there good image.

I have flown back from Thessaloniki to Chicago on Saturday, 9/22 and when I claimed my luggage in Chicago it was badly damaged and cracked open to where I cannot use it anymore. My bag was perfectly fine in Greece when I left and it was damaged in transit. The luggage is a designer bag BEBE and it cost me $300. I made sure to take pictures of the bag in Ohare international airport even though saturday evening i had no one to complain to about my bag. Please let me know what will be done as I need to now purchase a new bag.

I am disabled and i ask for ground services from turkish airlines.they put me in a place and ask me to wait until they come.time passes and i ask for two times and they reply that your flight has been delayed.i cant hear announces from there so i believe them and wait.but soon a staff from ground service came and he said that my plane has been departured.iat least i asked them to pick me bus station but they said i have to pay for bus arrival fee.i paid for the bus ticket also.i am both phsically and mentally exhausted.by the way i have a neurogical condition and this situation gives me neurological pain which i have to endure now.

I was flying from Zagreb-to Abu Dhabi Over Istanbul.
In Zagreb i got only one ticket and they told me that i should take other
in Istanbul. And here started hell for me because i lose my flight to Abu Dhabi,
because Turkish Airlines or Later on Etihad Airlines didn't want to make me new
ticket on transfer desk, they where completely losted, very unprofessional.
I had to make turkish visa go out to turkish airlines ticket sale desk to change my
flight.
After that, i went to check in supervisor which should put on same flight my bag
which stood in istanbul.
But now after 3 days i am still waiting my bag which is completley losted.

Was in a Turkish Airlines flight flight on Sep 17 from Istanbul to Houston.
On luggage bought just before traveling on Sep 3 to Istanbul and Rome, was badly damaged.
Airlines denied claim for replacement of luggage. Reason shown was that we were suppose to show the luggage in airport before leaving. We did go to the Luggage office waited 1 hr with in law who is 91 yrs old. Nobody was available and a coworker in the room from another airline (Qatar airlines)told us to complain on line which we did
Turkish Airlines has been using this tactic to avoid claims. If they want passengers to show broken luggage before leaving they should have representative 24/7 in the room
After flying over 13 hrs passengers cannot be asked to sit and wait for representatives to show up in office. This is a disgraceful

Hello there,
I traveld from toronto (on sept 17, TK 0018) to Ekaterinburg( arrived on sept 19, tk 475) even though the over all experience of the flight is quite good ...there was one unpleasant side effect ; when one of my laggage arrived to ekaterinburg the extendable handle was broken ( simply was not there at all the one side part that was attached to the handle is missing too, and there fore the suitcase could not be fixed or replaced and cant be used for travalling anymore, cause the second stick that used to hold the handle is sticking out and could not be hold in place)

I am not sure what is the client number, but the code for purchazing a ticket was UZNYUM and the number for my luggage is [protected].

Since repair is highly impossible i would accept a refund that allows me to purchase similar quality travel suit case. I am not able to provide a copy of receipt .

First of all, traveling with Turkish airline was great in everything but I will not use it again in my round trip because of the idiot manager at Alexandria Airport.
Stay away from Turkish airline if you will travel from Egypt to anywhere even if round trip. The manager is jerk and say bad words in front of my kids, fighted with women say f words.

I have made a reservation through a travel agency called Altayyar (Almusafer) located in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

I made the minteioned reservation ten (10) days ago. The next day I went to the office of Turkish Airlines in KSA, Madina infront of Saudi Post Office . I went to the office to confirm my reservation, and I gave the employee working there (named Maher) the Passports and I.Ds. and reservation details and I asked him to review them and make sure there is no issue regarding the reservation, this was one week before the flight which departs from Madina and lands at MZR airport in Afghanistan. The employee told me that everything is correct and there is no issue regarding the reservation. On the day of the flight dated 15/9/2018 to board my flight. However the employee of turkish airlines working in the airport refused to give me the boarding pass because he said there was problems with names of the passengers.
I went inside to the office of turkish airlines and try to solve the problem with them. But there told me to go to the same turkish airlines office located in Sultanah infront of the saudi post office.
I went there to fix the issue and i was there for 3 hour trying to solve the problem. They said we can fix the problem but i have buy new tickets. And the amount of money was very large since i bought tickets for my self and my family of 8. They asked me to pay additional amout of nearly 50% of the amount paid before for the tickets. This is not acceptable because as i mentioned i have went to the turkish airlines office one week before the flight and the employee told me there was no problems. And because of that i missed the flight which costed me money and it was very very inconvenient.
Please solve this issue by issuing new tickets without additional cost or provide a complete refund, since this problem accrued becase of the turkish airlines office in KSA, madina, infront of Saudi post office in Sultanah dist.
