I just got 5 checks from the IRS thanks to Travis Watkins Tax for helping me with the Employee Retention Credit. I got over $300,000 in total! You gotta call them, it's totally worth it!

They bully there own clients to settle. They bully there own clients for more money. They lie. They manipulate. They have small print they use on there own people. You need lawyers just to sign these lawyers papers.

In October , me and my wife went to Travis Watkins to get a head start on filing our taxes. But guess what? It's already *** of 2022 and our taxes still haven't been filed. Can you believe it? This place is a total joke of a business, if you ask me. I've tried reaching out for my tax year 2020 paperwork multiple times, but no luck so far. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who needs tax help. They'll just drag you into a never-ending nightmare, and let me tell you, it's not cheap either. My wife and I had to shell out a whopping $13,800.00, and we haven't seen a shred of evidence that any services were actually completed. Can you believe that? It's just ridiculous.

I've been makin payments to the IRS of $700 a month and gettin nowhere. Got another letter sayin I owe more to the IRS. I'm payin for life at this rate. I called Travis Watkins after hearin on the radio about the Fresh Start Program and wanted to hear what they had to say. The staff was so professional and knowledgable. I truly felt a weight had been lifted off my shoulder after hearin all of the options available to me. I know I can try to do this on my own, but who has the time? Plus, I know I would screw it up. I hired this firm and they are already tryin to settle for just $100 for all my tax debt. They have gone above and beyond on their service and I highly recommend anyone meet with them if they owe the IRS.

Stay away from Travis W. Watkins Tax Resolution & Accounting Firm! Seriously, don't even bother listening to their smooth-talking salesman, Maverick. That guy will straight-up lie to your face just to snatch your hard-earned cash. I was promised that they would help reduce my tax debt once they took a look at my books and tax history. But guess what? They left me hanging with a whopping $217,000 still owed! Can you believe it? It's even worse than when I first signed up with them two years ago. And let me tell you, in those two years, they only bothered to check my bank accounts twice to update my bookkeeping. And that's only because I had to call and complain like a broken record. Oh, and good luck trying to get someone with a brain to answer the phone! They love playing the "leave a voicemail and we'll never call you back" game. This has been the absolute worst business experience I've had in my 23 years of being in business. These people are completely untrustworthy.

This place is a joke! I hope nobody ever falls for this scammy office! The secretaries are so unprofessional. We paid $2000 and it's been 7 months! We haven't heard anything! All we get are their unprofessional secretaries saying they'll have someone call us. They do call when they want a payment, but they don't call when we have a question or want to know where our money is going. This office is a total scam. If you've had a problem with them, report them to the police, file complaints, get a lawyer, or start a lawsuit against them. Shut them down! Don't be the next victim! It's funny how they want your name on the review so they can respond. Really? They can't even call their own clients back, but they want to respond to a ComplaintsBoard.com review? What a joke!

Travis Watkins didn't keep any of the phone appointments with me. They charged me for work I did myself. I checked my file with their office in October . When they sent me my charges this Spring 2021, they added activities they didn't report before. They moved my case to many lawyers who didn't actually work on it. The *** office is so busy, they can hardly answer calls or emails. *** Watkins himself won't talk to me. He advertises a lot on *** radio and TV, but doesn't have enough resources to help clients. Once they had my money, I was forgotten. I worked with three different *** officers for two years. They told me they hadn't heard from the Watkins firm on my behalf. Dealing with this firm caused more stress than my *** issues. "

I knew dis would b a lengthy process, but had no idea dat I would b involved on dis matter still. When they say they care bout u, they truly mean it. I was scared 2 even address my issue. I owed 1.4 million. After a year of dem workin on solvin dis (which I thought it would def take longer), they settled it 4 $65,000. I can't thank dem enough 4 keepin my biz goin n lettin me keep my house. I was scared me n my fam were gonna end up on da streets. I owe everything 2 Travis n his team of tax professionals. If u r readin dis n think they can't help u, u r WRONG! Call dem n find out urself. Don't take my word 4 it. They will show u!

We hired Travis Watkins *** in 2020/12/08 to help us with filing our taxes and represent us against the ***. They charged us $3.000 dollars. We paid them off in 2021/07/12. The *** placed a levy on my check 2021/10/03. This is what I call a breach of contract. I have called several times, left ***mails and texts, and no response. I feel like someone robbed us. I am a disabled American veteran. I would like a full refund. I did more leg work and got my taxes done with *** services. I called and worked out a deal with the ***. When I spoke with the ***, I mentioned to them that we had hired Travis Watkins to represent us. They, the ***, said there were no papers filed showing that we had representation. *** is taking money and *** what so ever. I have all my paperwork and proof. I want my hard-earned money back. They show a pattern of breach of contract and robbing people. Sad business.

We signed up for their monthly online services. After the first week, we realized this service is useless. We called them and asked to cancel the service and not charge our card the $29.99 every month. We also emailed them to cancel, but they keep charging us. We're thinking of filing a criminal complaint for fraud against this company.

I hired this company in October , but I haven't seen any progress yet. I decided to let them go just an hour after giving them an extra $1500. On June 5, 2022, I sent them an email requesting a refund, but I didn't receive any money back. To make matters worse, they even took an extra $700 from my credit card account on July 5, 2022. They attempted to charge my card again on August 5, 2022, but I managed to change my card information, so they can't charge me anymore.

I hired this firm 3 years ago to resolve tax penalties. I wasn't happy with their work. I talked to another lawyer to complain about this firm. They said the cost of going to court would be more than what I could get back. I told Travis Watkins I'm ending their services. Then the pandemic happened and I moved to ***. Today, I got a bill for $675 from Travis Watkins for doing my 2021 taxes. One of my complaints in 2019 was that they did work without my permission. And that's exactly what happened now. It's impossible to reach Travis Watkins on the phone. They don't respond to letters or emails. That was a problem in my last complaint. I've tried both this time, but no luck.

This company is the worst company ever! We hired them to help resolve our tax service issue on 8/21. They were supposed to represent us from 2017 through 2019 for tax resolution because of an IRS audit. They told us we only qualified for the CNC No Collection Status, but fees will continue. We asked to appeal to get the penalties and other charges removed and we would pay the balance, but she refused. Their promise was to (1) provide a transcript analysis letter to let us know the amount owed, (2) offer a compromise or appeal, (3) appeal any levy/lien, and (4) pursue any options for an abatement request. Travis Watkins & Associates never, ever initiated a meeting, call, or update to us. We now have a lien on our home for over $50,000. We paid Travis Watkins $4,000 to help us and they have not done so. We are a working middle-class family and never dreamed they would just take our money and not help us at all. We called them about the lien on our home and they said our case is closed, do not call back, and hung up!

Travis *** Tax Resolution & Accounting Firm is a complete disaster. They promised to handle my taxes, but after three long months, I discovered that they hadn't done a single thing. They made all these empty promises about phone calls and emails, claiming they would finish my taxes in just a few days. But instead, they kept passing my case around to different employees, causing endless delays. Fed up with their incompetence, I had no choice but to take my taxes to another firm. And guess what? Travis *** refuses to refund my hard-earned money. They dodge my calls, and when they do answer, they feed me more lies about working on my refund. It's clear that this firm cannot be trusted. They are nothing but a bunch of dishonest crooks. I had previously worked with a different firm in North Carolina, and they managed to process seven years of returns in a matter of days. Yet, Travis *** couldn't even handle a simple task in four months. They didn't lift a finger to help me. On top of that, they tried to charge me a whopping $2,000 for payroll services, when a local firm did it for a fraction of the cost. This firm is a complete joke. They have put me in a terrible situation with the IRS and wasted my precious time. I wish they had been honest with me from the beginning, so I could have gone elsewhere. And let's not forget how they tried to convince me that they could secure a $2,500 PPP loan from the government, when I managed to do it myself for free. These people are just plain bad, and their shady practices need to be thoroughly investigated.

We gave this company $6000 in April 2022 to file our tax return and paid extra for itemization. We gave them all our bank and credit card statements for the year through their portal a week after meeting them. We called multiple times to make sure they got all the information, but we could only talk to the receptionist. They never called us back or gave us any updates or asked any questions like their salesperson *** said they would. We got an email from a generic office account a few days before our taxes were due, saying we owed taxes. They didn't do any itemization and didn't even file our income correctly. It was the same amount we gave them, no work done. They wanted us to sign an e-signature page, but it wasn't attached. We replied asking about the itemization we paid for and said we couldn't find the signature page. They didn't respond. We called, but no one could talk to us. On the day our taxes were due, 6 months after giving them our info, we went to their office. They wouldn't give us a copy of our return and wouldn't let us in. Not filing on time would cost us $45000 in penalties. The receptionist first asked for our bank statements (the ones we gave them 6 months ago) and then said they had them and were working on itemization. It was 4:00 pm on the day they were due, right before we would get penalized. This company is taking money for services they didn't provide and won't communicate.

I hired this firm a few years ago to help with my taxes. They said they sent me a document to sign, but I never got it. They promised to send it again, but I still didn't receive anything. I went to their office twice to sign the papers in 2020 and 2021, but nothing happened and they didn't contact me. I tried to get a refund because it's been a long time and I don't think they did anything for my case. I went to their office two more times to get information, but they said I had to talk to the office manager, who was never available. Finally, I got a note from an administrative assistant saying she would give my message to the manager and that the manager would call me. This happened on 3/7/2022, but I haven't heard anything from them since. I tried to contact the manager on March 9th, but she was out of the office. They also told me she's not available on Mondays. I tried again on March 11th to get the manager's contact information, but they wouldn't give it to me at first. Eventually, they gave me her last name (***). It's now 3/20/2022 and I still haven't heard anything from the firm or received any updates on my case. I've tried many times to get this information and I've made sure to sign all the necessary documents. I've put in a lot of effort to get this resolved, but it hasn't worked out.
