TARR tax and accounting is the best tax company I know of! They are so good at what they do, it's like they have a magic touch when it comes to taxes. I've been using their services for years now, and I couldn't be happier. They always make sure to get me the biggest refund possible, and they do it all with a smile on their face.

I wouldn't recommend using Tarr Accounting & Tax Service. I've been trying for 6 months to get my taxes back and I can barely even get an email response. Right now, all I want is to pick up my W-2s so I can do it myself, but that's becoming a problem. Avoid this company!

I wouldn't give them a zero, but their professionalism is lacking. They promised to file an amendment years ago, but it never happened. My mom has called so many times, but can't reach anyone. They either don't call her back or keep saying they'll send back the 16/17 forms, but never do. My dad had to personally go to their office and ask for them. It's just ridiculous!

I wanna complain. After many tries to get in touch, no progress. Did ya reach out to IRS for an extension?

Tarr has had my documents for months. They don't answer phones or emails in any consistent, timely, or useful way. I have no idea about the status of my return or when it might be filed. I just want my taxes filed for last year.

I sent my tax forms to Tarr Accounting & Tax Service for preparation. They sent me a digital copy of my completed taxes on 4/28/22 because an extension was filed. However, on 7/8/22, I received a letter from the city stating that they had not received my return. I reached out to Tarr Accounting on 7/11, and they said they would look into it. On 7/12, I sent them an email, but I didn't get a response. They said they would look into it again on 7/15, 7/20, and 7/22. I even left them a voice mail message on 7/22 and 7/26, but they didn't respond. Frustrated, I contacted the city tax department on 7/11, and they confirmed that they never received my return. I followed up with them on 7/22 and 7/26, and they informed me that they had processed all returns received through 7/20. They checked their files of unprocessed returns, and mine was still missing.

I gave my 2019 taxes to Tarr Accounting & Tax Service in February . They made a mistake and forgot to include my child as a dependent. It took them until 4/28 to fix the error and submit the corrected documents electronically. However, I still haven't received my refund. I tried reaching out to my tax preparer multiple times, but couldn't get through. I also tried checking the refund status online and calling the IRS myself, but couldn't find any information. I left voicemails on 6/24, 6/26, 7/3, and 7/8 for Tarr Financial Services LLC. I also sent emails on 6/27 and 7/8. On 7/15, I called multiple times and was hung up on. I paid them in full for their services, but it's been 78 days since my taxes were filed and I'm starting to doubt if they were even submitted. I'm extremely frustrated that I can't get in touch with anyone and that my attempts have been completely ignored.

I sent my tax stuff to Tarr Accounting & Tax Service in either February or March, and taxes are due on April 18. On tax day, I hadn't heard anything and called them all day. Finally, on my way to work at 5pm, someone answered and told me that my taxes were done. I haven't received any tax return from the state or federal government. I can't check online for a refund because I don't know the amount and if my taxes were actually submitted. I've called them more than 20 times in the last six months, and no one has ever returned my call. My brother-in-law works for the city of *** and stopped by their office to check. Someone said they would call me and let me know, but I've called twice a week since then and left a message, and still haven't heard anything. I called twice last week on Monday and Friday and left a message. There was an email address to contact for immediate help, and I sent an email, but still haven't heard anything back. I'm trying to refinance my home equity line and need my tax return documents, but I haven't heard anything from them in 6 months.
