Horrible experience with TouchBistro
We ran TouchBistro in our restaurant and it was an expensive mistake.
This company's business model is to lock you into endless contracts, and they don't follow or respect Mexican law.
They charge IVA tax but never issued a CFDI, the invoice required by Mexican law.
What the salesperson told us about cancelling is not what the contract says.
No adhesion contract registered with PROFECO, the Mexican consumer authority.
The contract names TouchBistro Inc. in Toronto as the provider, but the charges come from TouchBistro Mexico.
They changed the terms and conditions in the middle of our contract.
We cancelled in writing and on time. They refused it and kept invoicing.
The model is a 24 month lock-in with automatic renewal, and you pay the rest of the term if you want out.
Read the whole contract before you sign anything with them.
Better yet, look elsewhere.
The software is not worth the headache.
