I was having trouble downloading and paying for totally online so I contacted your support. They came online and also connected with my computer. After a few minutes I was told that we needed a more expensive plan and when I said no he became irate. I then told him to cancel the plan and to disconnect from my computer. He disconnected however I was charged $101.80. I contacted my bank however he has put in the order and the bank oked it. I am very dissatisfied. I can not get into the site nor can I seem to talk to anyone as they disconnect me or put me on hold.

I purchased a anti virus program last year 2022 and this year had decided to not buy from them now suddenly i find £119.00 taken from my bank account via paypal as a old age pensioner i can not afford this loss and feel violated and disgusted with this practice its theft and trying to contact av is nothing short of hopeless. Original purchase for 1 year only for £19.00 only .Invoice no: [protected]. Ordered online.

There was an advertisement stating that the software from TotalAV at $1.99.

I paid through my credit card and later realised that I have to pay password at $39 USD.

To me that is a ripoff as I am able to get cheaper good antivirus for half the price.

Had requested several times for refund or alternatively requested to remove the password cost at least.

No reply from the billing side of TotalAV.

I am getting rather annoyed about repeated “non-payment” letters from Total AV.

Almost every time there is a renewal, I get an attempted overcharge which is rescinded after a call to the Total billing support. Have been using the product for many years and generally I am happy with it and as an IT professional have also recommended it to my clients/contacts.

My account clearly shows that I am paid up till January 2014

This unnecessary harassment must STOP or I will find an alternative product next time around.

I have tried to call the company but every option points back to their website.

A month ago, I requested a refund for an unauthorized transaction of £99 withdrawn from my account.

My emails are completely ignored, and the confirmation code does not come into my inbox to cancel the subscription either. Since I am very disappointed with the customer service, I wish to cancel my account immediately and get a refund. However, TotalAv makes it impossible, so the last option is the report & ask my bank to block them.

I N writing your organization again referencing Total Av. I cancelled your subscription back in 2022. It is expired and remove from my system. Why have you made 10 attempts to pull fund from my account. Your attempt to pull fund from my account is UNAUTHORIZED. I can’t speak with a real person as your only wanting to work through your app. Looks like I will have to file complaints with BBB and the FCC WARNING others of your fraudulent attempts to pull money for a service I cancelled. It is very frustrating to formerly subscribe to a company once trusted to realize that you are cyber bullying and thief’s. Fix the issue.

I tried Total AV and when I decided to cancel after my trial they negotiated about 3 times to try and make me stay with them.Eaxh and every time I woke up in the morning I had to turn on the Webshield and connect the VPN. But then every month when my monthly charge went through my protection was shut off! I had to activate one every device I have! It wouldn't allow me to add my tablet though it claimed I could add up to 5 devices. I canceled last month and they still charged me this month! I had to cancel again! This is a nightmare!

I stopped your service 6 or 7 months ago. You continued billing me, so I called and spoke with a person about the problem. They said they would take care of the problem. Here we are three months later, and I am still being billed for a service that I am not using. Each month you have billed me $ 9.95 + .10 for trans fee. My account was under [protected]@yahoo.com phone number [protected], my address is 2032 fountain valley way, North Las Vegas, Nevada. 89031. Please stop billing me for this service. So far you have taken $60.80 plus .60 in transfer fees. I had you erase my download and have canceled your service via my PC.

So, I got this email from Total AV offering me a special deal for January. They said I could protect my computer and two other devices for only $14.95! I was pretty excited about it, so I clicked on the link and paid the money.

But when I got everything set up, I realized that I only had coverage for one computer and one mobile device. What the heck? That's not what they promised me!

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with Total AV. I don't think they're worth the money at all. If they can't even deliver on their promises, how can I trust them to protect my devices? I would definitely recommend staying away from this company.

So, I recently tried out TotalAV and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. At first, I was excited because they advertised that everything was totally free. However, after downloading the app, I quickly realized that this was only a half-truth.

You see, the anti-virus and firewall were disabled and I couldn't use them until I paid for them. I found this to be very deceitful and shady. I mean, if they're going to advertise that everything is free, then it should actually be free.

Now, I will say that once I did pay for the anti-virus and firewall, the program did a great job at protecting my computer. However, I still can't get over the fact that they advertised something as free when it really wasn't.

Overall, I would say that TotalAV is a half-sham. It may be a good program, but the advertising is very misleading. If you're going to use it, just be aware that you'll have to pay for certain features.

I bought Total AV and even got some extra services from them. But then my wife's computer went kaput and wouldn't start up. It was just stuck in this loop of trying to repair itself. I spent a whole month trying to figure out what was going on, and finally realized that Total AV was the culprit. Turns out it doesn't play nice with Bit Defender, which is already built into my Netgear Router. So I had to delete Total AV, and now it's too late to get my money back. What a bummer! I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money on this one.

I wouldn't recommend TotalAV to anyone. They kept sending me reminders that my subscription had expired, but I didn't want to renew it for another year. However, they went ahead and charged my account without my permission. This is unacceptable and I feel like I've been scammed. I'm planning to contact my bank to block them and report them for fraud.

Another issue I had with TotalAV is that it's impossible to access your account. Every time I tried to log in, I got stuck in a purchase loop. It's frustrating because I wanted to cancel my subscription, but I couldn't even access my account to do so. To make matters worse, they don't answer emails and their phone lines are always busy.

I strongly advise against giving TotalAV your bank details. They don't respect their customers' wishes and they make it difficult to cancel your subscription. It's not worth the hassle and the risk of getting scammed.

TotalAV is a complete waste of money. I made the mistake of purchasing a year subscription for three devices and it turned out to be the worst decision I've ever made. I didn't know how they control reviews online, but I wish I had read them before buying. The website charged me 9.99 a month when I bought a year for 36 for 3 devices. What a rip-off!
