I recently gave TotalAV a try, but unfortunately, it didn't work well with my preferred malware protection, Malwarebytes. I decided to request a refund after only a few hours of use. However, the process of canceling my subscription was not as smooth as I had hoped. I was passed from one agent to another, each trying to convince me to stay with TotalAV, despite my repeated requests for cancellation. It was frustrating to have my requests ignored time and time again. Eventually, they did cancel my subscription, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

If this is how TotalAV handles a simple cancellation request, I can only imagine how they would handle a more serious issue. It's disappointing to see a company not prioritize their customers' needs and requests. I would advise others to avoid TotalAV and look for a more reliable and customer-focused antivirus software.

This company, TotalAV, is a real rip-off. They got me hooked in the first year with a discount, but then they tripled their price. I decided to cancel the service at the end of the year and found a much better service that cost me only a fraction of what TotalAV was charging. Unfortunately, even though I canceled my subscription, TotalAV still charged me. I have tried calling and emailing them ten times already, but they just ignore my requests for a refund of the $149 fee that I did not authorize. Instead, they keep sending me spam emails with sales pitches because they don't want to give me my money back. You should be very careful with this company. Their services are not that great, and they are way too expensive. Plus, they will keep charging you even if you don't want their service anymore.

I was under Total AV on 3/28/2023 when my identity was stolen. I want compensation for the cost of having to factory reset both my mac book air and iPhone since both were invaded.

On 3/28/23, I purchased a dog supplement from Honest Paws. I had called the company to ask questions and the woman answering said she could take my order. Because it was referred from veterinarians.org, the price was only $1.30 so I gave her my debit card # connected to my checking account. 5 hours later someone in SC (I live in NC) used my info to withdraw $800. My bank reimbursed me 8 days later. I later learned from Veridian Credit Union in Iowa that on 3/28/23, an attempt was made to apply online for a loan. Veridian shut them down and sent me a letter and paid for IDX services. After that, if I called any 800 or 888 #, someone would answer and just breathe. I started getting calls from China, The UK and Netherlands.

I purchased in error, cancelled subscription. Tried to uninstall on my computer. Cannot find it as an app but still controlling my log ins for my accounts. Will not allow me to find password or anything. I am not very happy. Any help will be appreciated. Took payment from Goggle account. Looking for a way to get it totally gone.

Web security has been removed from my smartphone and I was advised this was happening but I don't understand why. I have paid a full years subscription on 01/12/2022, which I can use on multiple devices. I believe I was paying twice with monthly payments of $9.95 being paid for 5 months. I cancelled this second payment recently when I realised it was a double up. Following are all the payments I have made to TotalAV with dates. There are a couple I don't understand what they are for and have noted those that need more explanation. I have previously tried to resolve these payment but the answer was brief and useless.

Few days ago Total AV charged me with an unexpected and exorbitant amount for my automatic renewal.

Worse still, they did not send me previuos notice asking if I wanted to renew or even warning of the date and the amount they would charge.

It Total AV only want customers for one time I have no choice but to do their will and get away.

Constantly! The total av "pop-up" is on my screen. "account error" "update details." I have tried, literally 101 times to complete the information.
It asks: "email address" next lines want "password." fill in the items requested.- result? The same windoe pops up and asks again for th same information!
Your lame excuse for not addressing the issue is further evidence of what appears to be you scam to sefraud the customers!
Latest attempts to complete your bs request to "update details" was friday april 14, 2023. Saturday april 15, 2023. And april 16, 2923 between 2:00 - 3:00 om (cst).

Really rather pathetic!

On checking my Bank Account on line, I noticed a debit of £29 had been taken from my account without my authority, by TOTALAV.

At no time have I ever indicated any interest in buying this software, so this Debit is THEAFT pure and simple. I have no idea how they got my bank details to do this but intend to report this to the authorities.

From my experience, it is high time this organisation was put out of business permanently, as they are quite obviously a criminal organisation.

Total Antivirus installiert Schadsoftware (Maleware, PuP) auf den Rechner. AdwareCleaner hatte 12 Dateien mit der Schadsoftware nach der installation festgestellt. Außerdem reagierte der Pc extrem träge oder gar nicht. Nach den deinstallieren des Programms und anschließenden Scans wurde die Maleware entfernt und seitdem gab es seit Tagen keine Probleme mehr. Leider reagiert TotalAV nicht auf meine Emails, nachdem ich auf mein Widerrufsrecht und mein Geld zurück verlange. Mir ist es ein Rätsel das solche "Unternehmen" so mit den Kunden umgehen und versuchen sie abzocken. Ganz sicher werde ich in Zukunft auf solche Maschen nicht mehr reinfallen. Ich will mein Geld zurück!

Illegal Billing
My subscription ended in 12/2022. When I clicked on renew, I was offered a discount of $29.99 for the year. I accepted and supplied bank info. My bank called the following day to confirm $159 withdrawal from this company. I told them to reject it! I called Totalav and got a representative on the phone who said I needed to pay $159 despite the information above. I emailed them and got apologies and more offers, which I refused. The last offer was for $9.95 month which I refused again and once again told them to close my account

In late January 2023 I got an email stating I hadn't loaded the program. I responded by stating my account was closed. In Fed 2023, they attempted to take $9.95 from my account and my bank reversed the charge
Today, Mar 13- there is another $9.95 charge pending. I am notifying my bank to close the current debit card as the charge is fraudulent! Avoid this company at all costs!

I have received 2 bills confirming charges taken from my credit card, of £99-00 on 21 Jan 23 and of £119-00 taken on 21 Dec 22.

When I took this up with the TotalAV "help" chat-line I was fed sales talk. On very politely pointing out that the chat person, "Archie King", had not answered my question he terminated the chat! (but I did copy and paste the entire session as a document).

I can see (from other complaints) that I am not alone with this problem. The sudden termination of the chat immediately I requested proper answers suggests that this company knows and approves of double-charging clients.

I must now seek a refund from my credit card provider, but I hope that what I have written will be a warning for others. I have, of course cancelled my subscription to TotalAV, but I don't trust them not to pull a fast one even so, and will be watching my card statements like a hawk.

You took £99.00 out of my bank account on the 3-Feb-2023 and I have sent you various E/mails asking you to sort it out which has still not been done I am still getting pop up boxes saying that my Antivirus Protection has expired and that I am not protected. Get this sorted and start my act vison from the date you active my account not the later date of the 3-Feb-2023 as I have not been covered for this time. This is the last E/mail I will send it will be a Refund and with charges

Once again I have to send in to your company. I have sent in numerous E/mails to your customer services. Your company took out of my bank on he 3-Feb-2023 £99.00 I am getting lots of pop up boxes saying that I am not protected. I have now received an E/mail saying that my account has expired. Can you sort this out or will I have to go to a different company for my protection and if so will I receive a rebate for the £99.00 you have taken from my account.

TotalAv charged my credit card $19.00, $39.00, and $39.00 on January 29, 2023. I wanted coverage for my laptop running Windows 10, my Iphone, and my Ipad. The company failed to provide any service, insisting the coverage was free limited-use. They acknowledged my e-mail that requested a full refund. They have not responded. I will dispute the charge with my bank. I do not want their "protection".

I purchased this product online for $29. After I download it. I couldn't log in. I click on technical support, I follow the steps they provided to reset my password numerous of times. But was not able to login. They stated if not satisfied I can get money back Guarantee. I request for my refund, Now I get email tell me someone will get back in touch with me shortly. Within 24 hours another email follow stated they couldn't find my information with my account link with my login name. They regret that they could not help unless I provide information to locate my account. Email address used to sign up with us

It may be quicker and easier to have this discussion over the phone on one of the following numbers, It was 3 other numbers but I chose this one. US - [protected]. So I just cancel it and they was quickly to response to my cancellation.
