Torrid Sign up for sms receive $100 in Torrid cash

Torrid has a promotion going on that if you signed up for sms messages before 9/27 you would receive $100 in torrid cash. I signed up for sms messages emails and downloaded the app. I never received the $100. When I talked to customer service they said it was because I wasn't the right tier. I never saw anything saying you had to be a certain teir to receive the money, it was just a cheap trick to get a bunch of people to sign up to their messages. Very poor professionalism on their part. I will never shop there now. I don't trust them

Desired outcome: I would like them to be true to their word and give the people that signed up the $100 in Torrid cash

Torrid Employee harassment and bigotry

Honestly, I work for a company that most of the women buy all their office attire at Torrid. I did not know much about the store till a friend of mine told me she worked there. So I checked it out for myself a few times never bought anything felt some of the attire was a bit costly but I was willing to finally make my first purchase here. Normally I would not buy anything here but my gf has a skin condition so I wanted to find her a wireless bra because she gets sores from wires huge ones and they get infected.

Well one of the employees her name is Hannah who works at the Torrid at Meadowwood Mall and I had a falling out. I told her and was clear I want to shop at your store I mean honestly how many Torrids are there in Reno? ONE while the other store is just lingerie and I was NOT looking for lingerie. I needed a solid bra for my gf whom I came in with but she and I went to other stores. We did not find one that would be adequate for her!

The first time I walked in the store Hannah and a few of her employees were pointing at me for one. They were laughing and I heard them talking about my girlfriend and I. Lets be honest here not only was that immature how am I supposed to feel comfortable buying anything with that happening. I did not go in the store to cause any issue I did not talk to Hannah did not look at Hannah and I did not buy from Hannah. I have every single right to look around that store!

Well my friend left to go look for bras I went back into the store figured maybe I could surprise her because she was new to Torrid so I wanted to show her the sunglasses and some of the dresses. Did not know they also had bras in the back. So I went into the store again only this time the same thing was happening and an employee came up to me new me by name how strange I have been in this store a few times but never in my life seen this employee how would she know?

Then she says to me you need to buy something now or leave you cant spend time with Hannah like oh really so now I cant browse anything. Prior to her walking up I was in the bra drawer looking for a 38D did not see a single bra size and honestly I could have ordered it online but the employee did not help me with that order instead its like buy something or go before I throw you out really throw me out? I get that these employees are friends of hers but in no way shape or form should I have been subjected to such rudeness it was not only childish but I am a customer in the store unless I am causing an issue and I was NOT!

I filled out a poor review for Courtney then a couple days later Miss Hannah filed a civil order which states I can no longer go into Torrid to shop. The order states that she got in trouble because of me and that I filled out a poor review for Courtney well Duh they were bagging on me laughing, pointing, I could hear them saying discriminatory remarks etc etc did not care still purchased the bra and I left the store to go to my vehicle. I did not hang around but I did sign up to be a loyalty member which was also in the civil complaint that I signed up as a loyalty member and that I also was carrying my gun. Nevada is an open carry state but I did not have my gun on me no weapons are allowed in the mall yet the order states I was bringing one in there store total lie.

I am to a point where I am about to get a lawyer and SUE Torrid and its employees for emotional distress, harassment and a whole litany of other things. Honestly, so what I dated her awhile back coming into the store does not make me a stalker I came to that store with another woman to buy a bra that is it. Just as I have a right to file whatever survey reviews that is my right as the customer and basically I got told that I filed a bad review on her coworker. Now how would she know this unless her coworker and her are harassing me that is personal information I am a customer nobody should know what kind of review I leave!

With that being said two of my friends were shopping back in December and Miss Hannah decided she did not like them and told me she was going to also file a restraining order against them and call the cops. So anyone I know now cant shop at Torrid because they will either be harrassed, threatened or served with a protective order. Most of that protective order states how I was in the store and they got in trouble. Well I hope they did for harassing me they may not like how I look or the fact of whom I am but I am still a customer and I made a purchase of 50 something dollars for ONE yes ONE plain black bra. 

Honestly, not sure how they could want to promote her or anyone on that crew to an assistant or store manager given the fact that this is how this employee acts. So you hate me you do not have to talk to me or look at me but I have a right to shop in Torrid and that right was taken away by someone all because what I filed a review that was not so nice against her employee who was basically rude to me? You cant just go up to someone an say leave the store or buy something now because I know you use to date so and so its not right.

I cant imagine the animosity there at Torrid given the fact that Hannah talks about all her employees how they are lazy sacks of Shi% or how her friend LJ's is dating well the N word, how the crossdresser her number one customer is a fa$ and how he is a creepy cheapskate or how Courtney is fat and does nothing. This is the type of stuff that goes on and I say it in my review because it has to be said. I do not care if people read this review or believe me the point is that after going through this it hurts I am under emotional distress because I cant even go to the mall I cant shop at Torrid none of my friends can go all because I am not allowed to complain about how I was treated. Just as this same person steals from the company when she is alone at least that is what she said but that's who they hire. Point is that whatever they do has nothing to do with me I been here at least a few times over the past couple of months nobody ever really helps me and now that this person I know works there I am being subjected to drama and BS even though I am there to make a purchase!

I was treated poorly again I should be getting a lawyer and sue because I should not be treated by a business this way. Off the clock Hannah can do or say what she wants but if I am in the store shopping I am just that a customer and she has no right to get her employees to harass me and they should not know my personal info and if they do it means they are talking about me. I have to come to terms with the fact that not only has she done this to me but basically my friends at my office cant even shop there now because of the order and it was done on purpose with the intent to keep me out of the store even though I walked in looked through bras found a size and made a purchase. I even signed up for the loyalty program! I was in that store with someone who was also browsing and she got harassed to. 

I really do not care if Torrid keeps her but Torrid also needs to understand that they have an employee there who thinks its okay to make fun of their customers, harass them or emotionally cause distress. I do not have to put up with it like I said I should be getting a lawyer and suing because you cant do that to people. I get some businesses are rude but this is harassment and from what I know this company holds its employees to the highest of standards but this? This is really ridiculous so for now how I rate this company will be one star if down the road they wish to up their customer service and treat me like one then fine Id be willing to give the company a higher rating but for now one star end of story! Its not right no matter how you cut it and it just needs to be said! I am more then happy to talk to district about the incidents because I cant even shop here till the issue gets resolved neither can my friends or associates from our company!

Desired outcome: I doubt anything can be done sure I can make a ruse complain to corporate and they will send it to her manager who is also her personal friend who drinks at bars together. Do you really think anything will be done?

Torrid Torrid account assure

Hello my name is Carla and I had over $1,700.00 charged to my Torrid account Unbeknowns to me. I have contacted them multiple times over a month. Requesting my proof of enrollment. And I cannot seem to get anybody to contact me back to tell me that I enrolled in account assure. I am so aggravated because I'm trying to pay off my torrid credit card. And in the meantime, I'm still being charged. My monthly payments and interest waiting on account assured to credit my account. I have been trying to pay off this account for over a month now. But account assure is holding me hostage with $1,700.00 worth of fees. I saw the percentage of un resolved issues and I'm not pleased. Multiple calls have been placed along with multiple escalations...Whatever that means have been filed and I still can't get anybody to call me back. If anybody has any further advice, please message me. It's disturbing and disgusting how they are doing business. Shame on them!

Desired outcome: $1,777.08 dollars credited on to my Torrid Account ASAP!

Torrid Customer service

I entered the Arundel Mills location. The sales person looked at me and watched me while I browsed the store. As I was looking around, another customer entered. The customer looked just like the salesperson. The salesperson gladly greeted the customer. I started at the salesperson in disbelief. When the salesperson noticed me watching, then and only then, was I greeted. I told the associates I guess I was invisible. Definitely not spending my money here.

Torrid Associate

I was in Torrid at Northlake Mall in Charlotte NC. Aroumd 10:30 a.m. Dec 17th. She assisted the customer with going online to get the deal of the day and other discounts (on the store computer). And stood there an additional 10 minutes talking to her while myself and another customer waited to get a dressing room. No sense of urgency. However, when she approached me she stated she would look online for deal of the day for tights I was trying to purchase. I waited. I then asked of she found anything. Her exact words were, "Just pull out your phone and see what sales we have and thats how we'll do that. And ill match the price". I walked out because I noticed the white women were getting the associates undivided attention and above and beyond customer service. I felt overlooked and ostracized. I have been shopping with torrid for over 10 years. Ill never go back to this store. I was treated very poorly.

Torrid Hole in pants.

I received my torrid package on 11/19/22 and when i opened the package, the lounge pants i received have 2 holes in the side of them.

Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response and a replacement pair.

Torrid Purchasing with Gift Card

I placed two online orders with Torrid on 06/16/2022 using a Torrid Gift Card that had a balance of $40. Both ordered were cancelled due to their lack of keeping accurate track of their inventory. Order #1: DT0084610622. Order #2: DT0084610455. Pics attached.

Come 07/17/2022, I assumed since Torrid cancelled my orders, they would also return the money to the card. Nope.

After 5+ calls of being passed around Hot Topic & Torrid Customer Service, I asked for a Supervisor. 5 mins of waiting then I was hung up on.

Sixth call, I was able to speak to a Supervisor (Megan) who provided me with a $15 reward that expires in 45 days. Not another Gift Card, nor my unused balance.

Seventh call to Torrid Gift Card, [protected]. I find out my Gift Card is locked and unusable?!? Balance stolen.

Desired outcome: Unlock my Torrid Gift Card and return the $10.46 balance from 06/16/2022 or $40 refunded to me in cash.

Torrid order number DT0079401253 Torrid gift card purchase

I place an order for boots in January 2022, The boots were too big, I returned them right away. I received confirmation of my return on 2/2/2022. I was told the money was refunded to my gift card. Well I did not keep my gift card as I was not planning on needing it again. When I contacted customer service they said the would send an e card and it is now 5/22/22, and I still have not received my gift card. I have tried email, chat, customer service phone. NOBODY has been able to issue my gift card or credit back to me. This is $65 dollar gift that Torrid refuses to give me back.

Desired outcome: I would like my $65 dollar gift card or credit

Torrid Shipment never arrived

Order number DT0078851938 has nothing but a nightmare. Split shipment. Says it was tried to deliver to a business but it was supposed to go to a house. Then it says they are in the area. And now it says delivered and not the whole shipment came. This isn't the first time they have delivered there. Now it's impossible to get them on the phone or respond to emails. These are Christmas presents.

Torrid very poor service

Your Torrid store in cross creek mall, fayetteville n.c., gave my granddaughter and i the worst service I have ever had in a clothing store. The two girls in the store were no help at all. One ignored us, and the other gave bare minimal service. I bought clothes despite no help but would have purchased more if I had any help. I am the grandfather an know nothing about women clothes, and my granddaughter was unsure of your sizes as marked. I hope this is not the normal for all your stores because the women in my family shop online with Torrid often.

Torrid Refused because of medical excuse for mask

I was in one of your Torrid locations on 2312 Sir Barton Way Lexington, KY 40509 and was refused service because of my medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. I am a disabled Veteran and cannot wear a mask! The manager is Cory and she said I cannot shop in the store unless I had a mask on. I explained to her in front of other customers that I cannot wear one due to medical condition. She said I can shop online but i'm not allowed in the store. I'm very disappointed that you are medically discriminating against me because of my condition. I'm pretty sure it is against the law and will ask my lawyer about this medical discrimination. I look forward to hearing your response to this discrimination matter.

Desired outcome: The right to shop without a mask and not be discriminated against.

Torrid Service

I couldn't get my gift cards to work I was buying items online. So I called Torrid the girl told me that I can apply gift cards after the items have shipped to just call back once they do. So I called back only to be told there was nothing they could do, no one would help me. The manager wouldn't even speak to me. It was bad customer service, I have spent quite a bit of money at Torrid and now I'm rethinking ever buying from here again.

Desired outcome: That my gift cards be applied to the order I spent 300 and some on I have $150 in gift cards.

Torrid Monocular

Received what I thought was a great monocular as advertised and received this scope no better than the cheapest binoculars .
You have no return address or phone # to call !
I'm completely dissatisfied and want to return .

Torrid service

I am an African American woman and I walked into the store today and was not greeted. I looked around at clothes and I finally told the sales person hello. Then as I was shopping a white woman came in and the sales person said, hello is there any thing I can help you with or is there anything you had in mind today. She was attentive and spoke to her. I put all y clothes back that I was going to purchase. As I was leaving she didn't even part her lips. This world is very racist and I did not expect to see it displayed at Torrid. A store I shop at frequently. Very disturbing all customers are not treated with the same respect.

Torrid very rude and racist seller

On August 31 I went to buy at the store and the saleswoman did not want to accept my coupons was very rude. The next day September 1 I returned to the store to change a pants because I did not realize it was defective and did not bring bags then the seller told me I could not change it for another different pants that I had to take another one of the same price and I told her that not because I did not want it I wanted the one that I chose so she would change it she became very rude that she could not do anything but I begged her, I would pay the difference in price but the saleswoman insisted that not me I would choose something of the same price and I told the saleswoman that I was going to call the customer service and the seller answered me that I would do what I wanted her to not change, that displeased me and I left very sad because How can a saleswoman behave very badly with customers? I unfortunately will not buy more in these stores knowing that I am a good buyer in that store. Now I will go back everything I bought and I will unsubscribe and I will have to close my account.

Torrid customer service / billing

I placed an online order for $63.82 for 4 shirts. The next morning when I read my email confirmation of the order, it was the total was $79.92. I called into customer service and was told that they couldn't change the price. When I told them that they could suddenly charge more for my order, I had never agreed to pay $79.92, I only agreed to pay $63.82, I was told that they can change the price if they want. I said I wanted to cancel the order if they could not give me the original price that I agreed to pay and was told it couldn't be cancelled. Even after speaking to a "manager." I've been a customer for 15+ years, but they would rather lose a loyal customer than change my order back to the correct total.

Torrid unprofessional manager

I was browsing in the Melbourne FL mall location and was very disappointed on how a Manager was talking to an associate. I was across the room and what caught my attention was this obviously older women was yelling at a very young associate. I decided to move closer and the associate was stunned and never raised her voice. The older woman said "I'm not going to argue with you" and went into the back. I could not believe what she did because the associate never raised her voice. I made eye contact with another customer who was visually upset with the situation also. But what happen next is why I am filing a complaint. The older woman came from the back room with her purse and left! Just wrong. I then asked who the older woman was and I was told it was the Store Manager Crystal. Just wrong! The other customer set her items down and left. I decided to purchase my items from the young lady, i believe her name was Kelsey who was just as sweet as can be and never raised her voice. Even after her Manager treated her like crap she still had a smile on her face and was very nice and thanked me for shopping at Torrid. I will not shop at this Torrid if that Manager is working. She is a NOT a good Manager. She obviously lost another customer too since the lady left without purchasing her several items. POOR MANAGEMENT! Feel bad for the young ladies who work at this store!

Torrid refund for return items

It's been almost a month, april 4th, I bought items form a torrid in lexington ky. Turn right around and returned them, and the refund still hasn't showed up on my account! A month people?! Really! Customer service was useless, left me dealing with the store to sort it out! And still haven't heard back. 65 bucks in limbo with nothing to show for it! Not to meition the sass I got from the cashier when I returned the items because of a misleading sign and the girl not having a clue about there sale! I've been very polite and patient but it's getting ridiculous.

Torrid jeggings purchased and wore once

I am canadian and i travel to the USA a few times a year
I was in New Orleans on Feb 16th and purchased for over $250
Part of that purchase was 2 pairs of black jeggings

I wore a pair today for the first time and they tore?

I can't go back to NOLA but will be in nashville on March 24th
Can i get a refund or another pair ?

I only wore them once and it was today
