Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams [TTD] review: Free darshan token system

On 27th Feb Morning 4 am I had collected a token for free darshan and the allotted time was 12:00 PM

On reaching the Queue entry for the above darshan at 9 am, it was being announced that pilgrims are requested to enter the queue 1 hr before the allotted time

1. There was no body to check the time slot. So every body with different timings entered the queue creating big rush

2. People started running in the queue as there was a long vacant passage

3. This running continued for the next two hours with three to four gates

4. Finally after walking for few kms we reached Waiting hall 10, where Annaprasadam was served

5. So much rush making people to crumble to get prasadam. It was so bad that we felt it is better to skip the prasadam

Suggestions

1. Please keep security at the entrance to allow people with valid time slot to enter the queue complex

2. Reduce the distance to walk. There were Sr Citizens, mothers with infants

3 Make arrangement for a disciplined distribution of anna prasadam

As only limited people are given tokens, system could be better managed
