I found Thrive Market advertisement on Facebook. It was said that they had an opportunity to try their service for free, so I decided to give it a try. I was really interested in Thrive Market and signed up.
I received everything in time and must say that I was very satisfied, even thought of ordering from them again.
But then they charged my card! I contacted Thrive Market and they said that I was charged a membership fee. But I never agreed to anything! Asked for a refund and they replied that was not possible. Total scam!

I’m a “member” and find is crazy that I have to pay $6 shipping on top of a monthly membership fee AND then if I was cold or cool items I have to pay EVEN more to have to “cold pack” shipped to me. And the price gouging is crazy. My local supermarket has many of the same products for equal or lesser pricing. It’s infuriating. On top of all of that they promise “ships within 24 hours” and my orders always take 5-7 days to ACTUALLY ship AFTER a few days of processing. It’s a rip off but for a few select items I can’t seem to find anywhere else I have to use thrive. Ugh.

This company needs to be reported to the ftc. Our government needs to step in. This crooked company is ripping so many people off its disgusting. They need to be shut down. I am disputing fraudulent charges on my credit card right now.

I paid for their initial service, and decided it was not necessary to continue. I cancelled within the contract agreement, and have email proof. I was just recently charged for the annual membership, and told it was "something their computer just does automatically". What? They cost me over $100.00 in overdraft fees, charging me for something I did not accept. The woman I was speaking to (conveniently) hung up on me shortly after confirming I should not have been charged, but I never got a resolution. I tried to call back, but only got a recording to their website, which offered NO correspondence online. Hope this helps any of you fighting against their fraudulent system.

I live in England and have never heard of Thrive Market. When I saw my MasterCard bill, there was a yearly membership of £46.50 ($59.95) taken out. I think what happened is when I signed up for the free skin cream trial (also originating from California) which additionally was a total scam, these people then pass out your credit card number to other ill-repute companies. What I've done is cancelled my Master Card as 'lost' but still have to pay these ###. Beware of how you use your card.

Same here just today. Got a Paypal notification of $59.95 sent to Thrive Market. I bought something there once a month ago and never saw anything about a yearly membership fee anywhere during the transaction. If I had, I would have opted out or never went through with the transaction. I called them and demanded a refund. She told me it would take 3-5 business days, but it posted to my Paypal credit immediately, so that was good. THIEVES! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Same happened to me. I never purchase their $60 scam membership, so called my credit card company to report authorized charge. I believe that is teh only way to deal with their membership scam.
