Ordered cigars, and got enrolled in a $14.95/month 'Total Values Plus' plan. I won't bore you with what it is, because I don't care what it is. But, I do care about being fraudulently stolen from. I am very careful when I order on -line, have been ordering on-line for over 20 years, but somehow this got by me. Never again. I will never order anything from Thompson Cigars again. They know they piss people off with this, my guess is that the majority of the people just don't read their credit card or Paypal statements carefully. Greed. 10/18
Just cancelled this bogus scam from Thompson Cigars. I hope they rot in hell with this fraud. Never order anything from this company. Plus they are more expensive the Cigar International. Cigar smokers should all boycott Thompson
This place is a scam clip joint. Leave your filthy hands off my credit card. I have let everyone of my facebook friends know about your $14.95 a month scam I also asked them to share with all their friends. I'm guessing that it has been seen by thousands by now. Feels good to expose a scammer. Quit wasting your money sending me your catalog...it goes straight to the garbage, right where it belongs.
Placed an order with Thompson Co. for cigars for my husband. Never got them because they claimed they could not verify my birthdate. I have requested that this charge for Thompson co Valpo be removed , not happened yet.
Same as others. Thompson enrolled me in this garbage. Luckily I checked my junk mail. F...k you Thompson. Let's see if I will EVER order from you again.
Friends, I too was having unauthorized charges of 14.95/mo for 7 months and did homework and contacted Thompson Cigar who advised to call TVP. I cancelled my account.
I sent email to them demanding full refund, notification of credit co, card, bank, state and federal agencies and most importantly, reaching out to social media to educate, inform and share experiences.
i received full repayment from them reciently.
don't give up.

Shame on me to allow them to scam me... my own Da*** fault. Live & Learn. Just canceled after 6 months, did not get a refund !
Just got that same $14.95 charge. Luckily, I caught the first charge. I do not remember clicking on the "Yes" button to buy this. Will never do business with Thompson again.
Thompson got me with this scam too. The membership
“package” Vergel alluded to made no mention of a recurrent charge. Nor was any email ever sent telling me of this monthly charge. I caught it only after a number of months.
I am not ordering from Thomson cigar again but lucky I check my bank account daily. I wish I knew where I supposedly enrolled in this scam. I never join any club and at 62 senior citizen I get them all the time. How they got me, I don't know. Total scam
Just had the same thing happen to me. Discover alerted me to this charge and did some homework to see what it was about and found this info that answered my question. I cakked and cancelled and said i wld get a refund in 7 business days. We'll see. If not, Discover will cancel it ! LOL
I also got swindled for the $14.95 per month "Membership" fee. After two months I noticed this reoccurring charge and looked further into it by calling them. They agreed to cancel and refund me the two charges. Now it's a wait and see if they are a company of their word... #InternetHustleScam #Me2
I too got scammed by Thompson Cigars. $14.95 per month for 17 months! My wide, who does the bills, just assumed I was buying cigars every month. When I cancelled and asked for half my money back they said "sorry but no can do". I am writing the Pennsylvania and Florida Attorney Generals and ask that others do the same.
