I went to the ups store at 142 Lowell Road Hudson NH on 2/11 with a small box and a prepaid label. The bottom was taped but the top wasn't. The girl at the counter told me it would be $2 for her to put 18 inches of tape or I could buy a roll and tape it myself. I've shipped many boxes at several Ups Stores and have never had this problem. I drove 10 miles each way for nothing. If this is the new company policy shame on you. If not this store needs to be informed to stop, I retired from driving at UPS after 27 years I taped or retaped 1000s of boxes as a courtesy to my customers not to alienate them charging $2. In case you've never heard this "all we have is service" and this store failed miserably in my expert opinion.
