The First Group review: This company is a scammers

On 15 th of April we wanted to visit Palm Jumerah and came by tram next to Palm Gateway Monorail station. Unfortunately, on our way we met your agent, black lady by the name Mariam Odion who proposed us a free tour by the private car. We couldn't believe that but she told that they promoted The First Group hotels and they take us for the free tour in order that we will tell all our friends about that company and hotels and that first they will show us these hotels, show videos, but nit will not take more than half an hour.
In reality we spent more than 2 hours on the 24 th floor of one tall building, most probably their office. In a friendly way, we were asked to fill some kind of forms where we needed to give personal data, like name, surname, age, home address, workplace, salary. after came another person by the name Said, who offered us a "special offer" to book hotel with bed and breakfast for 2 people for one week any time within one year, with several tickets for some kind of events, like a trip to the desert, the ticket to the zoo and few more. He convinced that it it excusive offer, very cheep, but insisted that we need to pay strait away. Unfortunately, I agreed and paid by card 5493 AED! The promised tour through the Palm island we didn't get, we just were brought to the beach... Later I checked in their own website that such a hotel for 2 persons with bed and breakfast for 1 week cost about 4500 AED, without any special offer. When after some time I checked their and other hotel booking websites I realized how I was screwed up like an old maid, i send an email to Said. He explained that such price is not only for hotel and entertainments, but also for some kind of Dubai Lifestyle Membership, which wasn't mentioned during our meeting. I told that it is unfair and I want my money back, but now I got an angry text from Said Darghan, saying, that I made serious accusation on him, that everything is written in their Terms and Conditions, which of course I haven't read, it would have taken another two hours. It is injustice and unfair what they are doing, because my case is not the only one, I found more similar "accusations" on Truspilot.
