The Cat Practice overdosed my cat

This so called business (owned by laura or lorry chochran) named cat practice killed my cat (my baby) of 8yrs with an overdose & total malpractice, bad customer service and just a complete lack of passion and responsibility for what they do. I took my cat panther to this clinic january 2009 because he had symptoms of a slight cold, he was sneezing here and there but other than that his health was good-he was eating (he had a big appetite), drinking water and playful... The so called doctors there examined him and gave me a list of some dental work he needed and some medication clovamox 125mg (in which I still have some left) for his cold. I gave this medication to him as prescribed and I noticed within a week or so that he started to throw up and lose weight rapidly, he went from almost 14pds to 10pds-this was so crazy so I took him back to the clinic and they just quoted a price to me for another exam and i'm thinking aren't you going tell me what's wrong with first, this is an emergency type of situation-they seen how much body fat was lost... Instead they got an attitude because I questioned their qualifications as caring, qualified and passionate doctors and nurses because my daughter also complained that the doctors and nurses there handled him with unnecessary roughness and she said she even tried at one point stop them from being too rough and told them he is a very mild mannered cat. Well cat practice continued to demand money without even telling what was wrong with panther and maybe even prescribe a different medicine and I even asked the doctor if the 125mg of clovamox was too strong, it just seemed like a common sense possibility because it looked as if he was having severe reactions to the 125mg. After a few minutes of "no I don't think so..." she actually admitted that the dosage could be too much for him, I was so upset and all they could tell me was okay he lost body fat and was dehydrated and I told them that! So for this information they wanted another 60+ dollars and more money for a new medication when I mentioned to them that he barely took the 125mg and I even asked for a discount or replacement since that medicine didn't work, the doctor refused everything so I told them to release panther back to me so I could take him to a hospital, they refused and said they were going to keep him there until I paid this extra money for an exam fee but I demanded my cat or I was going to call the police, so they released him and told they weren't going to treat him and "don't bring him back here anymore" as if I would because they didn't care to treat him or replace the medication that was obviously making him extremely sick because it was the wrong dosage and I found this out from lots of research. A cat is only to have 62.5mg clovamox-125mg is for dogs only. Cat practice did not want to own up to their obvious mistake!
From this point I had to take panther to other clinics to try to save him, I spent about a thousand dollars from that incident with cat practice until he passed just trying to get him to hold on because he stopped eating and eventually stopped drinking water completely-he would stand over it like he really wanted to but it must have been too painful for him. He became very weak and doctors gave him pain meds and at one point all we could do is give him baby food through a syringe, it was very upsetting, very emotional to see him go through this, he couldn't even walk after a while or make it to his litter box. Panther just started to hide away under my children's beds, obviously some kind of rapid kidney failure and i'm not a doctor and I figured this much. A few doctors advised me to "put him down" but I couldn't do it. We watched over him helplessly because he wouldn't respond to any treatment so they just kept giving him pain meds and more dehydration treatments and when I came to pick him up I heard his last breath apr 15, 09 4 days after his 8th birthday. One word malpractice!=law suit for pain and bills.
