I ordered 6 screws on April 15th from The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside. On the 17th, I got an email saying my order was ready for pickup. I went to pick it up at 4:35pm, but they told me the part department closed at 4pm. They asked if I called ahead, but I didn't because the email didn't say anything about different hours or calling ahead. They said there was nothing they could do. I was really frustrated and left a Google review about their bad customer service. They responded and said they would ship my item and update their process for pickup emails. I didn't get anything during the week, so I called multiple times on Saturday and got transferred to a voicemail. When I showed up, they hadn't shipped the item, so they gave me 2 screws from another order. I told them I ordered 6, and they admitted I was right, but now I have to come back again because they have to reorder. I only have 2 screws out of 6, and management hasn't followed up with me.

On May 23, 2022, I heard grinding and squealing sounds from the brakes after driving 217 miles. I went back to Subaru and they said the brakes were rusted and needed to be replaced for $932.00. I was upset because I had just bought the car three weeks earlier. I talked to a manager named *** and they said they couldn't refund the money, but they could give me two free oil changes worth $200.00. I don't trust their business practices because they couldn't find the pre-sale service document for the brakes. I will only get my car serviced there if it's covered under the warranty. I won't spend any more money at The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside. I hope they honor their word about the oil changes.
