I got a car from Hayes Motor Company with cash on 8/10. They said we could get a warranty plan with AmeriPlus. We tried to use it on 5/19 at Pep Boys in Lubbock, Texas. They said there was no contract. I had a copy of the contract and talked to Hayes Motor Company (Kip Guerra). The car needed a new air conditioning compressor, which would have been covered by the contract. The contract said repairs were covered until 2/19/2023 or 108,858 miles. Neither of those things had happened yet. I went to Hayes Motor Company and talked to Kip *** He called AmeriPlus while I was there. They said Hayes Motor Company had deleted the contract. They said they would fix it. They paid for the repair, but they didn't fix the warranty. I check every week, but they still haven't fixed it. I called on 6/4, and they said they would check and call me back in 15 minutes. They didn't call back.

I bought a used Chevy Pickup from Hayes Motor Company on 02/19/2022 for $69,900. I test drove it for 3 miles and it seemed fine. After completing the financial process, I purchased an extended warranty and gap insurance. However, on 02/20/2022, while driving up a gravel hill, I heard a loud noise coming from the steering column/front end of the truck. I took it to Scoggin Dickey on 02/21/2022 and informed Eric and Toby from Hayes Motor Company about the issue. They said they would work on resolving it. Due to issues with the warranty company, my truck was in the shop from Monday to Thursday. On 02/28/2022, I spoke with Toby and he agreed that it wasn't feasible for me to pay $1400/month for a truck that had been in the shop longer than I had driven it. He said he would check with the sales manager to see if there was a way to get me into something comparable. On 03/01/2022, Toby informed me that the sales manager could only pay the deductible, which is unsatisfactory as I was sold a malfunctioning truck. I hope Hayes Motor Company will reconsider their decision.
