It is my understanding, as it is being reported, the Commander of the VA is in support of reducing tinnitus and sleep apnea compensations. One may have a machine and be treated for apnea but that does not mean they are no longer burdened or handicapped, or strain put on the pulmonary artery. One cannot carry this machine or power it in rural settings while hiking or hunting. Sometimes even travel to Europe is an issue. I fully expect the Legion to support and protect all Veteran disabilities. I will be following this situation closely and I will pull my membership if I hear of further cluster fukng.
Claimed loss: possible reduction of compensations
Desired outcome: Full support of all Veterans and their individual compensation
