The Alzheimer's Store The Alzheimer's Store's Poor Customer Service and Faulty Product

I bought a battery thingy from The Alzheimer's Store for $45. When I got it, it didn't work at all, even after I put in new batteries. I tried to talk to their customer service, but they were no help at all. They wouldn't even pay for me to send it back! I finally got them to approve the return, but when I went to the post office, they wanted to charge me $50 to send it back! That's almost as much as the thingy cost in the first place! I ended up sending it back for $18, which is still a lot of money. I don't think The Alzheimer's Store cares about their customers or their products.

The Alzheimer's Store Beware of The Alzheimer's Store's Return Policy: A Review

Yo, so I gotta say, if you're thinking about ordering from The Alzheimer's Store, make sure you read up on their return policy first. I made the mistake of buying a medication dispensing box with an alarm for my mom, but it freaked her out and I wanted to return it. But guess what? That bad boy was on the list of items they won't take back. I get it, I do, but if they had just let me know before I ordered it, I might have thought twice. I did suggest they add a note about it, but they didn't seem too keen on my idea. So just be careful, folks.

The Alzheimer's Store Mixed Experience with Alzheimer's Store: Easy Purchase, Disappointing Return Policy

I recently bought an automatic pill dispenser from the Alzheimer's Store and it was a breeze to purchase and receive. However, my dear old mother passed away shortly after we received it and we never even got around to taking it out of the box. I reached out to the store to inquire about returning it, but was met with a disappointing response. They said that medication dispensers are non-returnable due to health and safety concerns surrounding handling medication or devices that have come into contact with medication. I was taken aback by this response and reminded them that the dispenser had never been taken out of the box nor come into contact with any medication. Unfortunately, they have not responded to me since then.

I understand the importance of safety when it comes to handling medication, but I feel that the Alzheimer's Store could have been more understanding of my situation. It's not like I was trying to return a used or contaminated product. I was simply trying to return an unused item that I no longer had a need for. It's disappointing that they would not even consider my request for a return or offer any sort of compromise.

Overall, I would say that my experience with the Alzheimer's Store was mixed. While the purchasing and receiving process was easy and seamless, their policy on returns left a lot to be desired. I would caution anyone considering purchasing from them to be aware of their return policy and to make sure that they are absolutely certain about their purchase before making it.

The Alzheimer's Store Disappointing Experience with Alzstore.com: Nonfunctional Memory Phone and Poor Customer Service

I bought a memory phone for my dad from alzstore.com. I drove for 4 hours to bring it to him, but when we tried to store phone numbers, it didn't work! I was so disappointed and my dad was upset too. I called tech support and they told me to return it to the store for a replacement. They said it would take 2-3 weeks to get a new one. I was so frustrated because I had wasted so much time and effort on a nonfunctional phone.

I decided to order a cheaper memory phone from Amazon instead. It was fully functional and arrived the next day. My dad was so happy with it! I wrote a review on alzstore.com, but they didn't publish it. I noticed that all their reviews are 5-star, but there are many 1-star reviews on other websites. I think they are being dishonest.

I would not recommend alzstore.com to anyone. They don't stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible. Spend your money elsewhere!

The Alzheimer's Store The Alzheimer's Store Review: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Practices

I was really excited to find The Alzheimer's Store (alzstore.com) because I was looking for a wireless bed alarm to help keep my loved one safe. I placed my order on October 28 and the ALZ store charged my credit card the full amount on October 29. However, it's been a few weeks now and I still haven't received the product. I tried calling them to get shipping information, but they told me that they couldn't give me any because the item was being shipped from another location. I was a little frustrated by this, but I figured that it would arrive soon enough.

Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. I tried calling and emailing them multiple times, but I never received a response. I even tried to cancel the order, but I still didn't hear anything back. It's been over a month now and they still have $200 of my money for nothing.

I was really disappointed by this experience, and I felt like they were taking advantage of me. I decided to file complaints with the BBB, Visa, and the State Attorney General's office. It was a lot of work, but I finally got a refund through these methods.

One thing that really bothered me was that I checked out the address on the initial email they sent me and it turned out to be a parking lot in New Jersey. According to the BBB, they are doing business out of another location. I agree with the other reviewer that they are taking advantage of people by relying on the fact that caregivers are generally too overwhelmed and exhausted to complain about being ripped off.

Overall, I would not recommend The Alzheimer's Store. While they may have some good products, their customer service and shipping practices are unacceptable. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy store to buy from, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The Alzheimer's Store Disappointing Experience with The Alzheimer's Store: Overpriced and Defective Products

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with The Alzheimer's Store. I mean, I get it, they're selling products for a good cause, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they're charging an arm and a leg for a product that's not even worth it.

I bought their cell phone for Alzheimer's, which they're selling for almost $400. But get this, it's just a cheap $70 Blu phone with a cell phone app called RAZ. And let me tell you, that app is glitchy as heck. I had problem after problem with it, and it's missing key elements that would help keep the user from getting confused.

But the worst part? Their return policy is a total rip off. Once they have your money, they want to keep it, no matter what. They charge 30-50% for unused returns, all at their "discretion". I mean, I get that health care and hygiene products can't be returned, but this is a defective cell phone and charger we're talking about here.

I ended up buying a Jitterbug phone with GPS for $119 and $19 per month. And get this, it actually works! Plus, it has GPS location for just an extra $10.

And don't even get me started on their website. They only display good reviews, and when I tried to leave a one-star review, the website wouldn't even accept it. Check out the photo I took.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend The Alzheimer's Store. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The Alzheimer's Store Mixed Experience with The Alzheimer's Store: A Review

I gotta say, I was pretty skeptical when I first stumbled upon The Alzheimer's Store website. I mean, anyone can throw together a website these days, right? But I decided to take a chance and place an order anyway. Unfortunately, my first order never arrived. I was pretty frustrated, but when I called the customer service line, they were actually pretty helpful. They told me they hadn't received my order and suggested I try placing it again. So I did, and this time it went through.

But then, I got charged for and received two of the same item. I called customer service again, and they told me I had to pay for return shipping if I wanted to send the extra item back. I was pretty annoyed, especially when I saw that their return policy said they wouldn't refund the full cost of a returned item. It seemed like this place was just disorganized and didn't really care about their customers.

But then, something surprising happened. I decided to return the extra item without opening it, and I had it classified as an "order refused" with the shipping company. I spoke with Scott, who I guess is the director of operations, and he was actually really helpful. He refunded me the full amount for the extra item, and as of today, I haven't been charged for the return shipping. Scott told me that this is a family business, so I guess I shouldn't have expected them to be a giant corporation or anything. But still, it was nice to see that they were willing to do the right thing and correct their mistake.

All in all, I guess I would recommend The Alzheimer's Store, but with a few caveats. Make sure you read the return policy carefully, and be prepared to deal with a little bit of disorganization. But if you're willing to take a chance, you might just find what you're looking for. And hey, it's always nice to support a family business, right?

The Alzheimer's Store Poor Customer Service at The Alzheimer's Store: Great Products, Terrible Experience

I gotta say, the products at The Alzheimer's Store are pretty good, but their customer service is just plain awful. I ordered three things from them, and they charged my account faster than I can eat a slice of pie. But guess what? I haven't seen any of those products yet. I tried calling their customer service line, but no one picked up. I left a message, and they said they'd get back to me within 24 hours. That was a lie! I even emailed them twice, and they didn't even bother to reply.

Finally, I caught someone on their website's chat section, and they finally talked to me. I ordered those three things on August 15, 2017, and it's been over a month, and I still haven't received them. When I asked about it, the account manager said that one of the things I ordered wasn't available, so they didn't send the rest. When I said I'd wait for that thing to become available and just send me the rest, they said they couldn't do that. Why not? They didn't even explain or apologize. They said I had to cancel the thing that wasn't available to get the rest of my order.

I mean, come on! They didn't even try to contact me and let me know what was going on with my order. I had to ask them about it after waiting for over a month. I'm never shopping at this store again! They seriously need to overhaul their customer service.

The Alzheimer's Store Negative Experience with The Alz Store: Lok8u Freedom Device Review

I recently had an experience with The Alz Store and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in August and we were looking for a device that could help us locate him if he ever left the house again. That's when we came across The Alz Store and their Lok8u Freedom device.

At first, Robin from The Alz Store was very helpful. However, things quickly went downhill when I couldn't get the second device to work. The first device I received wasn't able to tell me where my father was, and Robin told me to return it. The second device seemed fine at first, but then it started giving me inaccurate location information. For example, it would say my father was in Burnsville when he was actually next to me in Shakopee.

I contacted The Alz Store to return the device, but they refused to take it back. They claimed that Robin said the device was fine, even though he had told me to return the first one. It's frustrating to know that my mom has to eat the cost of a device that we can't even use.

It's disappointing to see that seniors are being taken advantage of by companies like The Alz Store. I would advise anyone considering purchasing a product from them to read reviews and do their research beforehand. Overall, my experience with The Alz Store was a negative one and I would not recommend them to others.

The Alzheimer's Store Review: Arthur the Bear - Faulty Product and Poor Customer Service from The Alzheimer's Store

I recently purchased Arthur the Bear from The Alzheimer's Store for a woman with Alzheimer's who is unfortunately dying of cancer. The bear is designed to play music by simply pressing its paw, which is perfect for individuals with Alzheimer's. I spent a total of four hours downloading MP3 songs that she likes onto the bear. There were already five songs preloaded onto the bear, so I left them on there. However, only three or four of the preloaded songs would play. Sometimes the first song would play over and over again, and other times it would only play three or four songs before stopping. This is not the half-hour playtime that was advertised. Additionally, I had a hard time getting the same old songs to play again. I had to push the paw button ten times or more. Even the highest volume level was too soft for those with normal hearing to listen to. An elderly person, like the one I bought it for, can't hear it at all.

Before purchasing the bear, I was told by customer service that I could load 4GB of MP3s onto it. I put on just over 2GB, but not a single song would play. Furthermore, the button for Loop or Reshuffle doesn't work properly. Reshuffle only plays the first song over again, and Loop plays whatever number of songs it feels like in the order they were downloaded. It doesn't always play all of them before shutting off. I paid $70 for the bear and an additional $21 for UPS ground shipping to get it before she dies, as that was the only "fast" service they offer. The company has not yet responded to my email about the faulty item, and I did not do proper diligence reading their (non) Return Policy, which is horrible. It's no wonder the Better Business Bureau has them rated F. I didn't look up store reviews before purchasing, which is not my usual for online shopping, but I was so happy to see this product. I did look for it elsewhere, but I could only find it here.

The bear is a wonderful idea, but they need to either be honest about what it does or fix it and accept returns for defective products. I feel scammed, even though the person I got it for loves it as a small teddy bear to hold and talk to. I could have gotten one of those for $20 or less. The store has no integrity that I can see, so I can't recommend it.

Another weird thing is that I received an order confirmation and a link to check on my order, yet my account states that I never bought anything from them. I emailed to question this, and they told me they didn't know but would alert the website techs.

The Alzheimer's Store Unreliable and Unhelpful: My Disappointing Experience with The Alzheimer's Store

Oh man, let me tell you about my experience with The Alzheimer's Store. I gotta say, it was not good. I ordered some products from them to help with my grandma's dementia care, but when they arrived, they were all messed up. Like, seriously defective. And when I tried to return them, they gave me such a hard time about it. It was like they didn't even care that they had sent me faulty stuff.

Honestly, I feel like they're just trying to take advantage of families who are already in a tough spot. It's like they're price gouging or something. And that's just not cool. When you're dealing with something as serious as dementia, you need all the help you can get. You shouldn't have to worry about getting ripped off by some shady company.

So yeah, I would definitely not recommend buying from The Alzheimer's Store. Save yourself the headache and find a more trustworthy company to work with. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

The Alzheimer's Store Poor Customer Service and Return Policy from The Alzheimer's Store (alzstore.com)

I recently had a bad experience with The Alzheimer's Store (alzstore.com). I ordered a MedReady pill dispenser for my mother for $173.00, but unfortunately, she had to move into an assisted facility before we could use it. When I tried to return the product, I was told that they would not accept it back. I was very disappointed with their customer service and their poor business practice.

I had never even opened the pill dispenser, but they still refused to take it back. This left me feeling frustrated and upset. I would not recommend ordering from The Alzheimer's Store and suggest that you order your dispenser directly from MedReady Inc. instead.

It's important to have good customer service, especially when dealing with products that are meant to help those with Alzheimer's or other memory-related illnesses. The Alzheimer's Store should have been more understanding of my situation and willing to work with me to find a solution.

In the future, I will be more cautious when ordering from online stores and make sure to read their return policies carefully. It's important to know what you're getting into before making a purchase, especially when it comes to expensive items like the MedReady pill dispenser.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with The Alzheimer's Store and would not recommend them to others. It's important to do your research and find a reputable company with good customer service before making a purchase.

The Alzheimer's Store Poor Customer Service Experience with The Alzheimer's Store: Frustration with Returns Process

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with The Alzheimer's Store. I tried to return something and filled out their form like six times, but still haven't heard back from them about getting an RA number. All I got was some standard message about donating the item instead. Like, come on, guys! I shoulda just gone with Amazon. This store needs to get their act together if they wanna keep customers.

The Alzheimer's Store Poor Customer Service and Faulty Products from Alz Store

I gotta say, I wouldn't suggest this website to anyone who's taking care of someone with Alzheimer's. It's already a tough situation, so why make it harder with a site that's not helpful? I bought one of their reminder clocks, but it was busted when I got it. I tried reaching out to the seller, but they didn't get back to me. And when I tried to contact the customer service folks at Alz store, they didn't get back to me either. It was a real headache!

The Alzheimer's Store Unfair Shipping and Restocking Fees: My Experience with The Alzheimer's Store

So, I bought a clock from The Alzheimer's Store for my sick family member. But when I got it, I realized that it was way too expensive. I decided not to accept the delivery and returned it. But guess what? They charged me a lot of money for shipping and restocking fees. I only got back less than half of what I paid for the clock. That's not fair, especially when you're dealing with people who are already going through a tough time.

I suggest that you buy from Amazon instead. They have better prices and you won't have to worry about shipping fees, import fees, or restocking charges if you need to return something. It's just not right to take advantage of people who are already vulnerable.

Overall, I'm not happy with my experience with The Alzheimer's Store. I hope they can improve their policies and treat their customers with more respect.

The Alzheimer's Store Alzheimer's Store: A Treasure Trove of Unique Products for Dementia Patients

Alzheimer's Store got some real cool stuff for folks with Alzheimer's. I was on the hunt for some goodies for my aunt who's got Alzheimer's Disease and moderate dementia, and I found some real neat things that I couldn't find at my local store. I mean, have you seen this memory phone? It's pretty sweet, and I couldn't find it anywhere else (http://shop.alzstore.com/Memory-Phone-0029.htm?categoryId=16). The prices are alright, I guess, but for something special for people with Alzheimer's, I reckon it's worth the cost.

The Alzheimer's Store Disappointing Experience with The Alzheimer's Store: Product Not as Described and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase from The Alzheimer's Store (alzstore.com) for a home alert pager and pendant. The description on the website stated that there were 50 different tones to choose from, which I was excited about. However, when I received the product, it only played a siren sound. I was disappointed and decided to reach out to customer service for assistance.

I sent two emails to customer service but did not receive a response right away. After some time, I finally received a reply stating that they would call me to discuss the issue. They asked me when I was available, but unfortunately, they called me when I was not able to answer. I tried calling them back, but I was unable to get through to anyone.

I feel like I was scammed by this store. I paid way too much for a product that did not meet my expectations, and the customer service was not helpful. I should have checked the reviews before making my purchase, but unfortunately, I did not.

Overall, I would not recommend buying from The Alzheimer's Store. The product I received was not as described, and the customer service was lacking. It's important to do your research before making a purchase to avoid any disappointment.

The Alzheimer's Store Terrible Customer Service and Unfair Restocking Fee Policy

This store ain't good, ya'll! They don't answer the phone or emails when ya tryna return somethin'. And if ya do return somethin', they charge ya a whopping 25% restocking fee even if ya ain't opened the box! That's just plain wrong, especially when they know that the elderly folks they sell to might need to return stuff for all sorts of reasons. I bought a phone for my mama and didn't even open the box, but still got hit with that crazy fee. I ain't buyin' nothin' from them again, that's for sure.

The Alzheimer's Store Unsatisfactory Experience with The Alzheimer's Store: Refund Policy Disappointing

I ordered some door alarms from The Alzheimer's Store (alzstore.com) and the next day, my dad had a stroke. So, I contacted the company to cancel my order, but they told me that it had already been shipped and that I should just refuse the package. I did as they said, but they told me that they never received it. I was really upset about this because I didn't want to pay for something that I didn't need. They said that they would refund me according to their refund policy "as a gesture of good will," but the refund was only for half the price. I think that this is a really bad policy, especially for an unopened return. I don't think that I would ever order from these people again.
