I purchased a washing machine from Home Depot online, on June 17th, I was scheduled to have my washing machine delivered the first time on July 13th. I left very clear concise directions to call me at work so that I could come home and meet the delivery truck. I received no call but decided to come home early anyway to be there for the delivery. When I got home there was a door tag left on my doorknob that stated the delivery truck had been there and waited for 15 minutes. I had only gotten home 15 minutes after the tag was left, so I called the Home Depot appliance number, and the associate said that she would call the delivery company to see if they could come back and deliver my washing machine. The delivery company refused to come back, and their excuse was that they would be late for all the deliveries scheduled after mine. I was not happy but decided to give them another chance. I was given another date of August 8th for the next delivery. I waited on the 8th for my washing machine to no avail. The next associate I spoke to that day, said that apparently there was a "computer glitch" and some of the scheduled deliveries for that day had magically disappeared off their computer. Again, not impressed, but the associate assured me that there was an opening on Saturday the 13th and he could give that appointment to me. Again, Saturday came and went and no delivery. By that time, I had no faith in this company, so I cancelled my order, and bought the same machine from a different company. I was assured that I would get a refund within 3-5 business days. When that time frame came and went, I was beyond frustrated, I wanted my money back, only to find out that I needed to go to the local store personally to get my refund. So this afternoon off I go to my local Home Depot store where the poor associate spent an hour on the phone trying to get me my refund. Again to no avail, apparently the delivery company has the first washing machine sitting in a warehouse somewhere and the order never got cancelled. So I go back home and later this evening, I check my store order online under "my orders" and to my surprise the order states that the washing machine was delivered on the 8th. This is blatantly untrue, and I am so done with having to deal with this nonsense. I just want my money back and I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot for as long as I live, nor will any of my friends or family as I have explained in excruciating detail to them this unbelievable tale.

Desired outcome: I just want my money back.
