Dear Talabat Support Team,
I am writing to raise a very serious and urgent complaint regarding the unacceptable behavior of one of your delivery riders during and after my recent order.
I have been using Talabat regularly for the past 5 days and ordering the same product to the same address without any issues. However, my recent experience has been extremely disturbing and disappointing.
Firstly, the rider was unable to find my address, even though previous orders were delivered to the same location. He was unable to communicate in English, which made it very difficult to guide him. He also did not answer my calls. Later, he contacted me on WhatsApp asking for the location, which I shared immediately.
Despite this, he took more than 1.5 hours to deliver my order, and the food was completely cold.
When he finally arrived, he refused to accept payment in coins and asked me to cancel the order and return the food. I had to urgently arrange cash notes to complete the payment. During this time, his behavior was rude and arrogant. Before leaving, he made inappropriate and obscene hand gestures and said something in his language that I could not understand, which made me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected.
After the delivery, I received a call from Talabat asking whether I had paid the rider. Soon after that, the rider started sending me abusive messages on WhatsApp. Due to his continuous harassment, I responded, and now he is threatening me.
This behavior is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unsafe. No customer should ever be treated in this manner. Being harassed and threatened by a delivery rider is extremely serious and has caused me mental stress and concern for my safety.
I request Talabat to immediately investigate this matter, take strict action against the rider, and ensure that my personal contact details are not misused in the future.
I also expect proper compensation for this experience and a written confirmation regarding the action taken.
I trusted Talabat as a reliable platform, but this incident has seriously affected my confidence in your service. I hope you will treat this matter with the urgency it deserves.
