Supercuts unprofessional service / desrimination

On Saturday 9/15 at around 9:30 am I walked in to this Supercut store to get a hair cut There were 5 people who looked like they worked there, and only one person was given a haircut to a customer. I was the only other potential customer. When I arrived I took off my hat and got a few chuckles (not thing unusual about that with little hair), from two of the employees. One who was sweeping very slowly, and the other who was messing with her hair. Not one of them greeted me. In fact, I sat there for 5 minutes and was completely ignored. I am over 50, so I can only summarize this store discriminates against older folk. If they don't, they are lazy, rude and unprofessional at best. I would say I am not the first older person who was ignored at this store.

I'm surprised they were not fighting to take the next customer like my store...Supercuts I'd the worst salon ever and they're employees get away with thing from harassing Co workers, lying, stealing customers, etc. Sometimes it's not worth going to the Chopper place around!

Supercuts butcher cuts at super cuts

I walked into Super Cuts in Shirley NY I told the hairdresser CHRISSY that I wanted ONLY the top trimmed, Well she didnt listen & While I was off guard she proceeded to cut the side of my hair below my ears & I screamed at her She cut a lot off I had to complain to the manager I will report this Salon & WONT QUIT UNTIL she is FIRED!, There are too many COMPLAINTS against them.

Supercuts bad haircut

went to this particular store because it was on our way to our destination. At the very start, the owner was arguing with one of the stylist, the girl that took me back, although nice, was SO intimidated by what kind of cut I was requesting...wanted a 11/2 on the bottom part with a slight trim on the top to keep it spikey, NEVER had a problem asking for this. the owner and another girl had to TEACH her how to cut my hair. Im more upset that the owner was watching this the whole time and didnt step in till the damage was done. it was all i could do to get out of there without them cutting my ears off. I went the next day to a supercuts located at The Plant Mall and she did an awesome job cleaning up the mess...I highly recommend going to the latter store, they are VERY professional and take their time to do it right. The other store, you need a serious restructure if you want to continue in this profession...WHERE IS TABITHA WHEN YOU NEED HER!

Supercuts hair cut

The hair stylist insisted I learn the reasons for her using scissor or trimmers. I explained - as I always do, that it doesn't matter, I just need a hair cut. She said she had several questions I needed to answer before hoe could cut my hair. Really? For what purpose? To waste my time apparently.
She called over another employee who went through the same routine. Instead of just cutting my hair, they wanted to play 20 questions.
I went to another hair cutting business, and got my hair cut without incident or all the bull.

So I take it you're the type of person when asked, "How would you like your hair?" you either answer, "The usual" or "shorter". "The usual" implies the person has been cutting your hair for several years and knows exactly how you like it. "Shorter" implies the person could wax your head bald and that is exactly what you want. A bald head is the usual for some, half an inch off is shorter for some, while 5 inches off is shorter for others. George Bush has a usual haircut for his head, Obama has a usual haircut for his head. Both completely different styles. Get the picture?

Supercuts employees do not care about their customers

I walked in to my supercuts appointment at 2:00. After waiting for ten minutes, I told the hairdresser that I wanted her to use the four. She said "four all the way around?" I said no, and to leave some hair on the top. She then ignored my last comment and gave me a buzz cut. When I complained, she said I should have told her more clearly, and maybe next time I should write down what I want so the employee won't get confused.

Fisrt of all i would like to say its not about how much you pay for a haircut its the stylist dong the cut. Ive worked in private salons where we charge $50 and i worked at chain salons where we charged $15. All stylists get there education at the same schools and most stylists go to classes for continuous education. I got more education working at the chain salon because they have classes all the time where when i worked at the private salon they rarely had classes becasue the owner could not afford to pay for eeryone to go. That being said its the stylist and not the place! Educate yourself before being so ignorant!

Supercuts stay away

I was seated rudely for a haircut because I have long hair and the girl obviously did not want to be bothered. I did not want any of my long hair cut just cleaned up underneath and MAYBE have the ends cut.

I had put my own hair up and she left it that way instead of placing it out of the way to do her job. She proceeded to clipper the shorter hairs only to pull a large portion of my longer hair out of hold with the guard and she PROCEEDED TO CUT OFF THE LONG HAIR AS IF IT WERE NOTHING AT ALL! I said "you are cutting my my long hair", she said " Oh I am arent I" as she continued to cut even more off until I yelled STOP! She asked if I wanted someone else to cut my hair, of course I said "No I just want to leave". On my way out in a very condescending manor she yelled "Happy Easter", as if it was a big joke and I was happy about her treatment of me. This crosses the line and has affected me significantly.

Words cannot describe how angry I am. The length on my hair is from years of growth and their employee cut it off as if it was a joke. Even as I write this email my hair is still falling out from her cutting it!

I am concidering contacting a lawyer to inquire about damages.

Supercuts horror hair cut

I went to Supercuts for a hair cut on McNight Rd in North Hills, Pittsburgh, PA and my face was cut by the hairdresser's scissors in 3 places. I didn't realize until I got home. I was cut so bad it still won't heal. Stay away from Supercuts!

Supercuts hair wasn't cut correctly

I went in to have hair trimmed.
When I went in the first time, the stylist didn't cut nothing off,
So I was VERY disappointed and decided to go back, So they can
do a touchup on it. I suggested that they just trim some
more. (mind you I have cowlicks). The other stylist
cut more than an inch off. (I'm a woman and now have VERY short hair).
I asked for hair trimmed alittle off earloobs and bangs trimmed to eyebrows.
Earloob hair is cut a good inch above and bangs are an inch too..
"VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

I was a former hairstylist of supercuts and one of the best hairdressers they got. The gen. Mgr. Is very prejudice who embarrassed and nitpicked me every time she had a chance including commenting that I don't know and understand English. She hired mgrs. Who just graduated from beauty schools and exercise favoritism. I was always scheduled 5 pm to 9 pm when the store is no longer busy while she gives her favorites more hours with good schedules. I had many repeat clienteles, requests and brought many new referrals from their families and made a good name for that store within 5 months of employment. 9 hairstylists quit from 2 stores for 3 months including me. I was written up because i was talking with the new employee to welcome her and make her comfortable in the store. I asked if she was pregnant in front of the newly hired and under management training employee which the latter made that comment a big deal that it was a sexual harassment comment. My mistake was, I signed the document without reading. I saw a devilish look from the manager when I signed the document. However, i requested a copy and was declined. Mgr. Told me it's supercuts property and Ge. Mgr. Said to asked the record from the corporate. What a very incompetent, inefficient mgrs who make their own rules on the fly and break them. They treat you like a dumb hairstylist but they look dumber with what they are doing. Hairstylists who quit had a lot of horrible stories about this gen. Mgr. I don't understand why the corporate cannot analyze why the turn over of hairstylist is very fast and clients are even commenting about hairstylists quitting. For all hairstylist out there be careful when you work for Supercuts in Camarillo, ca.

Supercuts bad hair cut

Whilst in Telford I was desperate for a haircut beofre a wedding the next day but being on job seekers had meant I had to put it off, so my hair was badly damaged. I told the hairdresser that I needed a thorough cut and paid £24 for just a wash and cut, didn't even finish it, literally. The hair around my face she didn't even cut! She cut in the fringe and barely layered the back, leaving me skint with still damaged hair! She was neither helpful, or interested in cutting my hair in anyway! So all in all, it was majorly over priced and a terrible cut and I would not recommend it to anyone, I still don't know where to get my hair cut, but am determined to find a better priced hairdressers that does a thorough a job!

Supercuts wait, wait. wait

I arrived and noticed a 4-5 year old getting a haircut...one stylist on duty. I waited more than a half an hour while she cut his hair one strand at a time. An adult was sitting in the next station and by his tatoos and the stylist tatoos, they were related...

My complaint is: I am 69 years old and have a full head of hair and they very seldom take no more than 10 minutes to cut my hair. Is this kid going to have an audience with the Queen? Is he the stylist's child? Does anyone care about customer service?

I have been getting my hair cut by Super Cuts since 1990 at different locations and I believe this was my last visit. The stylist should be sent on her way...by the way, others lthat arrived after me left before I did! What a way to ruin a customer base...

Did you have an appointment? I don't think you can get an appointment at Super Cuts, so I'm guessing not. Also, haircuts there run about $10. If you want excellent service, make an appointment elsewhere and pay up. Why should the kid get a crappy hair cut because you think you're royalty? Should they have just pushed the kid aside so that you, who arrived after the child, could go first? Did YOU have a meeting with the Queen?

Supercuts the customer service at supercuts

i walked into a supercuts hair salon and was refused service a colour for my hair they said they coudlnt do it

after that i applied for a job at supercuts i have been in the hair industry for many years and wanted to improove my skilss . I went into suerpcuts jsut to ask for directions to the studio and they were very rude telling me they could not give me any information about that and the studio was located right behind the salon .

when i went to the studio school the teacher was a very good stylist but i feel she treated me very unfairly. I was picked on from the moment i walked in

i was dressed appropriately for my franchise which allows us to wear coloured shirts with black shoes and black pants

they we started on the manikans and were asked to make sections she kept saying they were not good enough and making me do them over and over and lost patience with me

this made me nervous as i felt i was being unjustly punished and then she asked em to leave which i left a good job wher ei was assistant manager and now unemployed because she woudlnt give me a fair chance

my franchisee saw my womens cut and said it was very good but the teacher wrote4 me up and made me sound very bad

i feel she didnt like my appearance or was prejudice because of the colour of my skin and i am older she didnt have any patience for me and was rude and unkind . she could have told me after class but instead she embarrassed me in front of the class and asked me to leave and it upset me so bad . i have worked many years in the industry and never have i treated anyone or any customer so rude

i cant see why you cant improove your customer service and salon teachers since your in the business of customer service why are you treating people this way . I would never step foot in another supercuts as long as i live and when i did get a hair cut there it was very uneven and my daughter didnt like hers at all and it was uneven . Your school should be focusing on customer service and not fake mannequins and partings and c shapings and pinch partings if the customer service is poor and the haircut is not good . Prices for colour are also very high . This is unfair to lead cosmetoligists on thinking they will learn and get a good job with you and to leave a good job only to get picked on by your salon teacher (anita) and now be unemployed. Please dont put any more girls through this horrible experience as one day the better business bureau will come in and tell you to change your whole system and learn manners for all your employess . Perhaps its best what happened i refude to work with cosmetoligists that are rude to the public .

Supercuts bad employer

I had worked as a stylist at a few Supercuts for a few years. I have been a cosmetologist since 1991. Supercuts and Great Clips were the worst employers I ever had! My coworkers were very unprofessional. They dressed like prostitutes. They had inappropriate conversations regularly, even in front of other peoples children. They ususally talked about, bar hopping, doing drugs, sex, cheating welfare, the ### they dated, their tattoos, their periods, their std's, and their newly pierced nipples. I avoided them by cleaning the shop when I wasn't doing a haircut. I was the only ladylike, experienced, moral, professional that worked there in those shops. It was a horrible work environment. They required stylists to do fast 13 minute haircuts, 3 per hour, and sell at least 10% in products. They knew I had asthma, so when they smoked, they would leave the back door open so the stink would come in the salon, so I could not breathe. I would cough a hundred times. Never again, will I ever work for another chain salon with unprofessional sluts! I have been doing hair since out of highschool and I am now almost 40 years old. I have seeen it all. At a salon meeting at Supercuts, the manager encouraged the stylist to show some cleavage and flirt with men. I am a good stylist and have great skills, therefore I do not need to be a slut and show my boobs and flirt with customers. I have gone back to college a few times just so I can escape the business of slutty beauty chain salons.

Supercuts butchered my hair

I dropped my mother off to get her nails done and decided to walk next door to Super cuts for a trim. I have my hair styled like Victoria Beckman. I told her I only wanted about a half inch taken off, my hair was shoulder length. She took about two inches off and literally took random chunks of my hair. It looked as though you gave a five year old a pair of scissors and let them go to town on my hair. There were layers where there shouldn't have been, chunks missing, etc. The bill was $34.00. When I got home I began to examine what she had done and was horrified! I am 47 years old and have had a great hair dresser for 6 years, but because we had to move I had to find a new salon. I called the store manager who refunded only $16.00 because they would not refund the other $9.00 for their water, soap and blowdryer...are you kidding me! and I was unable to get the tip back as well. I went to a high end salon that worked semi miracles to make it look presentable but I am stuck like this for 4-6 months until it grows back. This happened on a Monday and I was very angry to find out that come Thursday the manager still had not even mentioned this incident to the girl that cut my hair. There's no accountability any more! Close all Super cuts!

Supercuts closed early

i went to the salon at 3 pm the store closes at 5 and the stylist informed me that they were closed due to the fact the wait was 2 hours long. 2 hours before they close? i have worked in many of stores and never have we stopped taking customers 2 hours before closing!

Supercuts bad manners... unaccommodating

At one point in time, I felt like a valued customer at this particular salon, but not recently. I became a faithful customer with a particual stylist at the Supercuts on Volvo Parkway, who was always nice to me. She made me feel as if my time and needs mattered. Unfortunatly, I learned that she no longer works there, but decided to continue to use the salon anyway. BIG MISTAKE. Once the remaining stylist realized who was my former stylist, they bashed her character and styling skills nonsstop. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. She was nothing but nice to me, which in a job of working with the public, it's important. But for workers to trash talk one another in front of clientele was a mistake that will never bring me back to such a negative environment.

Supercuts poor customer service

I walked into the store after work to get a hair cut from a certin person, I was told that she had two other people in front of me and they were out doing errons. So i asked how long it would be the girl Caroline told me it would be about 25min. so i said I would wait. put me on the list. I stepped out of the store for about 20 min. When i returned she was cutting a guys hair there was another lady sitting there with her little boy who was not on the so called list. Now at this time she had a phone call and someone was trying to get prices on color and cut, she was really rude to the person and slamed the phone down, not very professionel. At this point I was feeling like maybe this was not a good time to get my hair cut. Now she finishes with the man and then informs me she has to cut the kids hair first at this time Ihave all ready waited about 35 min. I asked her what happened to the so called list. She told me the other hair dresser was not finished with her person and she had to do the little boy first. At this point Itold her again that she had put me on the list, she became rude so I decided it would just be better if I leave instead of gettig a really bad hair cut! I have been getting my hair cut byCaroline for the last 5 or 6 times and Ihave taken both of my kids and my mother to her. Bad dession on her part I always tipped her 5.00 . Now she has lost the store 4 costomers she should be called down for her nonprofessionable attiude!I won'be back Thank-You caroline!

Supercuts I was absolutely astounded by the service i got at Supercuts

I was absolutely astounded by the service i got at supercuts, it was horrible, all the stylists were just mean ### bullies, rude, loud, talking about sex, talking about inappropriate things with customers, talking about there boobs, telling customers, nope, we cant do this style or that style, they get mad and angry with the customer, if the customer doesnt like there haircut, they will say, its not my problem... if you dont like it go somewhere else. its is probably one of the worst salons i have ever seen, it is by far the worst business i have ever seen conducted.

And complaints are never really taken seriously, the boss never writes any of those girls up, and they are just absolute horrible women in there and always have a rude ego to go with them. do not ever go to grants pass supercuts ! and the tools are gross as well, and the floor is dirty!

It is really sad I worked for a privite owner for 16 years and it was not like that until regis took over, after 16 years with the name supercuts I became a number they do not give a ### about the stylist or the customers all they care about is products, They now put stylist on the floor before they even go to HSA! So remember customers if you go yo the store on 405 N, Federal Hwy. pompano beach Fla. 33062 you will not get a great haircut like you use to, but you will be hounded about buying a product! So good luck!

suerpcuts dotn rent chairs and they send there stylists to rigourous training learning useless pinch partings and c shapes instead of working on customer service > I agree they are rude i am talking as a customer and a stylist i would never tell anyone to step foot in one much less get a hair cut in one ever .

Yesterday I went to the Supercuts in Boynton Beach, Wow! I had the nastiest Phillipino hairstylist, with the most over inflated know it all ego, treated me the client as if I was a stupid nothing. I was not even allowed to sit in the chair for a hair cut, she told me to remove my glasses made me stand up, turned my body away from the mirror then took a mans clippers, and started clipping my hair she did not even take the time to listen to what I wanted she told me that she had been a stylist since the 1980s and she knew what she was doing I wanted to cry. Both of my children were listening as she proceeded to call me horrible names to the other clients and stylists, she talked her head off, and was the most nasty, unprofessional bully I had ever encountered, never again.

Supercuts supercuts

I have read many complaints about Supercuts, well, I have seen people respond to them by "I am a stylist there and its super awesome OMG"
When I worked at supercuts for six plus years, I saw so many talented and not so talented stylists go through the revolving door of employment, that one could easily fill a stadium with angry stylists.
I could write a book about my complaints about supercuts but I will stick to the most pressing.
Supercuts when they hire you make you go though a training proccess called HSA, I ve seen alot of people say they saw people not get passed, but quite frankly I saw my regional supervisor pass girls because they were pretty. HSA is a enviromental disastor for a company that claims to care. Each stylist goes through at least three manequin hair heads, and those get thrown in the trash when done. Also they make each of there stylists go through recertification yearly, again the same three heads for how many stylists?
Supercuts doesnt want you to have a bond with the stylists. thats why you see so many good hairdressers get fired for crazy reasons. They dont want you to follow the stylist when they leave.
But that doesnt ever stop the managers from handing out their cards on the sly.
They hire girls that are not even done hairdressing school based on their atractiveness, I heard area supervisor June armstrong say that one girl was so pretty that the dumb men would run to get their hair cut by her.
Anyone unlucky enough to get their hair cut by her, were not amazed by her beauty, I saw people storm out.
If this girl worked friday night, sure enough saturday morning would have a room full of re-do's.
I would say take a job there if you like working in a enviroment that wants you to be brainless zombies. and heaven forbid if you ever talk about anything besides their product. They have something called "superpick" which must be whatever dusty old product they have funking around the regis warehouse, it is your job to try to sell superpick to everyone, example one weeks it was a silicone based thick gel. tell me what a old lady who gets her hair washed and set is going to do with a thick gel? I actualy got written up for selling that lady hairspray instead!
and the write ups are another fun thing! they like to write up every thing they do so they can use it against you when they decide to axe you. They tried in my area to "review" a girl weekly till they bullied her into quiting.

If you like being bullied and overworked then supercuts is for you!
I wake up everyday and am I happy I dont have to work there anymore.

Supercuts is a sweat shop, they should be reported for harassing and threatening their employees. They are bullies.

I agree 100000% i presently work at Supercuts for 8 months now and loved my job until the newest manager got promoted from stylist. Never b4 her written up once but funny in the past 5 weeks written up 3x...just plain wrong..some people have no conscious...4 of them in click..i know I'm being bullied into quitting...i just pray i can handle this until i get blessed with new job.

Supercuts staff

I went into Supercuts the other day to get a haircut and your stylist, Danielle cut my hair. While I was paying, she didn't give me a receipt as I was getting my coat on, I noticed her putting in the register that she charged me for a senior cut, but i payed for an adult cut. Just thought you'd like to know about your staff. Also, it's ashame that another one of your sylists, Peggy is late everyday and she's still there. Don't you think it's time to clean up before it's to late?

Supercuts poor customer service, bad haircut

I went in the supercuts in austin texas in oak hill. I was helped by an ashley, the manager and she was rude from the beginning. From when she took my name, to the haircutt I tried to get. She couldn't follow the easiest of directions. I will never go there again as well as I will file complaint w/ store. I asked for my head to be shaved and I wanted to leave my sideburns. It seems easy enough, but the first thing she does is, *** my left sideburn! I almost fell out of the chair! So I said, what are you doing! And she acted like I never told her in the beginning to leave the sideburns.
