Today I was charged for $30 for a membership. I never agreed to pay $30 for a membership and when the employee at my local super star set this up I was told I was only paying the $19.99 for one month and was not being charged for anything after. Now it seems I have been deceived by this company. I am no longer in a state where there are any of these superstar car wash locations. I have tried repeatedly to access the app, after I paid the $19.99 for just one month of washes I was told I could use the app to scan my barcode and go thru the washer. Everything I went, maybe 3 washes for that month nothing ever worked. The app never loaded and it always told me my account number, which is your license plate number was not valid. So the workers always had to scan their card and let me thru into the wash area. I expect a full refund of the $30 that I was just charged as this was never agreed upon and I hsd no way of even being able to even log in to anything to check. The app is horrible and never works, even the workers said that it was an ongoing issue. What really gets me is these people lied straight to my face just to get me to put in my card info so they could continue to charge me 1.5 times more then I paid for just one month of service. Being told it would end In 30 days and if I wanted to continue my subscription then I could do so at anytime. I was never told I was going to be charged like this.
Desired outcome: As I am not in a state that has these services, and I was deceived by a worker and was only told it was for just one month, not multiple. I want my money refunded.
