The Subaru Dealership in Mobile, Alabama is damaging the Subaru name. I purchased a Subaru Crostrek in 2016 before the dealership was sold. The new owner will not honor any previous agreement between buyer and seller. i.e. free oil change for as long as you own your vehicle. On November 10, 2021 I made an appointment online for November 18, 2021 because my key was getting stuck in the ignition and my drivers side fog light was broken. I took my car in and told the service department what was wrong. They informed me that their mechanic had to recreate the ignition problem before it could be repaired. I told the employee that it had been happening randomly for about 6 months. I was told that it still had to be recreated to get fixed. The employee basically implied I wasn't telling the truth. I called on November 19, 2021 to find out if my car had been repaired. The Service department had no idea if my issues had been repaired or not. I later found out that they don't have the parts required to do the repairs. I was not called about this even though I gave them a current phone number. I felt rather put off and decided to pick up my unrepaired car since the dealership had it for 24 hours. The employee then notified me that I owed the 81 dollars for an oil change. I informed them that I had purchased my Subaru there and that I had free oil changes for the duration of my ownership. I was told the new owner doesn't honor that agreement. I was not informed of this fact when I dropped my vehicle off for repairs. I will always own a Subaru, but now I will drive to Pensacola, Fl to purchase my new car. I will never set foot in the Mobile Dealership again. I see by the current the google reviews I am not the only one who has had problems with this dealership. Thankyou for your time.
