I opened a case [Case # [protected]] on my 2012 Forester. It is under 100,000 miles. It qualifies for the oil consumption replacement. The advocacy treated me like a second class citizen, I had to continually call to be heard. I know I am asking Subaru to work outside the year parameter of 2020, but considering the fact this piston ring issue still prevails, I believe the ethical thing is to fix it. My car is sitting at flatirons Subaru waiting a decision. If I am forced to deal with this on my own, I will end up paying off a car I cannot drive. I was offered a $750 coupon to buy a new Subaru, $500 to sell car internally. Which from my perspective is not conducive, I owe $13,000 on this car. When I told the advocacy person I cannot afford to buy a new car, I was then only offered $350 to pay for diagnostic. I was willing show paperwork on maintenance records, etc, I was not given that courtesy. I have driven Subarus a long time, 4 of them to be precise, this experience has really changed my opinion in my loyalty.

Desired outcome: For Subaru to replace my small block so I have a car that's driveable again.
