I went to exchange Adidas sneakers the person who assisted me told me he won't exchange them because they don't have the same sneaker in the store I ask if I can change with something else since the sneaker I was exchanging the child did not like them they told me no I can't exchange for something else because they don't have that sneaker in their store they can't even refund me I must go back to maponya mall and exchange them
Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded my money back so that i can go buy somewhere else where i can be able to exchange the product if i am not happy with it

The exchange policy from Studio 88 is utterly ridiculous and they are trying to give you the runaround. They are making excuses if you are unable to change the item or get a refund. Ask for a written explanation of the return policy and do not be afraid to escalate to a manager, if they still refuse, reporting them to The Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) South Africa should be your next step. They should not be allowed to restrict you from receiving a credit note.
