We just moved to the community from Arizona, never having seen the home (only by video). SD seems to think people won’t complain about their workmanship.
When they sprayed epoxy on the garage floor, it was on the step also. None of the interior doors fit tightly so you can see the light coming through from everywhere. The inspector found multiple issues. Hose bib was leaking inside the bricks, insulation was not around interior attic pipe, screen ripped on back porch, etc.
The biggest issue I found though you may find trivial there were no towel racks or toilet paper holders. In the tiled master shower, there were no shelves to put shampoo, soap, etc. And have you ever seen a $360,000 home with linoleum flooring (two of the three bathrooms and laundry room).
The other item is the security system and the keypad outside the front door. No one knows the code and the directions don’t help.
The biggest joke is that this was a MODEL HOME.
Beware of the loan processor, that was a nightmare. Make sure the points you pay are real.
