They lied constantly to us. Brooke a legally binding contract and won't pay us the $5000 they owe us. They listed our house on the MLS with false names and numbers from people who were not aware of them not did they give them permission to use their name or number. They ran the price down in 2 weeks to believe what we asked and pretty much screwed us out of being able to sell the house because of a reverse mortgage and the time limit. We can't wait until a time when we could list it at a price above what they listed it for. All around we lost time money and faith in people over their treatment of our family.

Ant Buys Houses, they signed a contract to buy my house, but they didn't follow the dates in the contract and didn't pay the escrow. After 35 days, they just wanted to cancel the purchase without any reason. They made appointments but never showed up, didn't return calls, and didn't fulfill the contract. I lost 5 weeks of beach rental and my house was off the market for 5 weeks. They are an unprofessional and unlicensed company.

Ant Buys Houses was alright. They sold my house quicker than expected, but the talkin' was terrible. They wouldn't pick up the phone or call back like they said they would. They made me pay for the warranty, even though they said the owner was supposed to. After I signed the contract, they didn't want me to do anything with the house, so I felt like I didn't own it anymore. Why should I be responsible for a warranty that wasn't even talked about? They never mentioned it to me, so I wasn't too happy with the company.

This company is awesome to work with, especially the boss! My company is a busy investment company, and we need good partners to keep our customers happy. Ant Buys Houses is super dependable. They can close deals in just 2-3 days, talk to everyone well, and give great value all the way through. You can trust them to get the job done! This company is owned by a guy who used to sell houses and his mom is also a real estate agent. She doesn't tell people she's related to him but she's selling their houses for him. They can do this because they make homeowners sign a paper that gives them power of attorney. People have told the government about this and lots of homeowners are speaking up too. Be careful and get a lawyer to look at the paper before you sign it.

Stay away from Ant Buys Houses! We wanted to cancel our contract, but the manager threatened us and refused to release it. They're trying to strong-arm us into selling our house! We need someone to fight these shady workers! They've been lying to us from the start, and the whole company is just a wholesale operation that sells contracts to others. They don't even put up option money, so they can back out anytime they want! Don't believe their lies about earnest money, it just goes back to them. This company needs to be shut down immediately! We're getting our legal team involved right away!

Me and my bro got a house in Missouriee from our aunt who passed away. We tried two other "quick sale" companies for 4 months but they did nothing. They barely called me back. We got no offers. Antbuyshouses helped me when I had no other options. I had no money to get my house market ready and he bought my house as is! Price was fair and customer service was 5 stars.

Sold our house to Antbuyshouses, we closed in two weeks and they really were understanding throughout the whole process. I called and they gave me a cash offer the same day, and we only had to show the house one time.

This is a bait and switch company. They made an all cash offer on your home and call back a week later and want to put it on the MLS. If you don't want to do that they give you a bunch of BS and back out of the deal. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I HAVE BROUGHT AND SOLD SEVERAL HOMES AND NEVER DEALT WITH THIS KIND OF PEOPLE. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR GO SOME PLACE ELSE TO BUY OR SELF A HOME

There is almost zero communication with the customer. They listed my home online for sale, but never once informed me of anything. I never heard who listed it, if anyone wanted to see it, etc. After a few months of frustration, they informed me they want to back out of their commitment and then tried to buy my home at half the original price. Do your research and stay far away from this company.

Please read this review carefully as I am trying to help everyone save time, aggravation and perhaps a lot of money. Read on and you will see what happened to us and why you would be well advised to avoid “Ant Buys Houses” like the bubonic plague. I also attach our signed contract so you can verify all the information I am sharing.

“Ant Buys Houses” and the owner Anthony Pintaro run a deceitful, untruthful and dishonorable company! We will be filing complaints with the B.B.B., the Office of the Attorney General, the C.F.P.B., the FTC and are preparing a civil lawsuit and are asking anyone who has had a similar experience to please contact us at [protected]@icloud.com or [protected] so that we can discuss with you joining and/or helping our complaint against “Ant Buys Houses”. In addition, if we are able to gather enough information from other victims that prove that “Ant’s” activities may also be fraudulent and habitual, and if they have violated any laws, we will certainly be reporting them to the proper authorities.

Now, a summary of our experience. Six months ago I started receiving calls from “Ant" concerning buying our home for cash. I eventually accepted their offer but they asked later if they might have a short period of time to try to “flip” the house to another buyer. I did agree to this but we also agreed and it was clearly and repeatedly stated in our contract that “Ant” would be required to put down an "earnest money” deposit to hold the house, that would be forfeited in case they pulled out of the agreement. This is normal procedure. We agreed that “Ant" had one week after signing the contract for due diligence to both have the property professionally inspected, and conduct a walk through, which they did with their own contacts. For this week only, they could also pull out of the contract without any penalty. After this, they were contractually obligated to honor the terms of the contract which clearly specifies that after this one week due diligence period they could not pull out of the contract without losing their "earnest money” deposit.

Over the following month, they asked me for three different variations in the contract which I obliged but none of these “addendums”, altered their obligation to forfeit the “earnest money” deposit in case they broke the contract. After almost two months, I find out from THEIR title company, that they had decided unilaterally to pull out of the deal. I was not initially concerned at this time about the "earnest money" deposit because I had received confirmation from Sydney Jenkins, the officer at “Ant” appointed to my case that she had already sent the wire to their Title Company AND SHE ALSO SENT ME A COPY OF THE WIRE RECEIPT!

Then, later, I also hear from “Ant’s” local real estate agent Dionisio from Ancona Real Estate that not only had “Ant” unilaterally decided to cancel the contract without letting me know directly, but that they had no intention to forfeit the earnest money deposit as required by the contract. I contacted Anthony, the owner, and at first he also assured me that the earnest money had been deposited to the title company, just as Sydney had previously lied to me. Then, finally, Anthony comes clean with two false and ridiculous excuses that in the first week of the contract, more than 6 weeks previously, I had not allowed a second walk through of my property and that the house had not passed inspection. Both of these excuses were 100% FALSE and RIDICULOUS because Anthony didn’t invent these lies until long AFTER the due diligence period had expired and AFTER asking me to sign the three addendums in the weeks following that same expiration. In other words they blatantly came up with this nonsense only after advertising my house for 2 months on the open market with THEIR local real estate agency hoping to flip it for a quick profit and never actually intending to purchase it at all, even though they repeatedly wrote in both the contracts and their addendums that they were the “buyer” of the property. When they couldn’t make a quick profit by flipping it, they brazenly violated the contract inventing out of thin air two ridiculous lies. To this day, they still refuse to pay the “earnest money” deposit as is laid out clearly in our contract. Thus we will go forward with all of our complaints.

Save yourself the hassle, the deceit, the wasted time and the lies and find an honest company to work with! Don’t believe the fake reviews, and please, if anyone else has had a similar experience, please contact us at either at [protected]@icloud.com or [protected] and help us put a stop to “Ants” dishonest practices with consumers! We would greatly appreciate your assistance, and promise to keep posting every step of the way, the progress of our complaints against this dishonest organization!

This company came to me to sell my house as is. I told them how much I wanted for it, but they said no. They said they would pay for me to move instead. I said okay and asked for help with moving. Four different people said they would help me, but they never gave me any information. They just said they help with local moves. They told me I have to be out by next week, but they won't tell me when or where the closing is. They haven't given me any information or help to sell my house. I'm going to get a lawyer to break the contract. They lied on their website and on the phone. They didn't really want to help me move. The woman I talked to today was rude and said I haven't done anything to move out. That's not true. I have a special breed of dog and I need a specific place to live. I asked for their help, but they did nothing. I looked at over 50 homes online, but I couldn't apply for any because they didn't give me any information about the closing. When I asked when the closing is, she said I'll be contacted sometime. How can I go to closing if I don't know when or where it is? I'm going to find another realtor to sell my house because this company is bad and doesn't care.
