SmashBurger review: Burgers have gotten extra salty and greasy

Dear smash burger,

My husband and I have been loyal fans of your products since you opened in parts of Long Island NY, almost ten years ago. Over the past few years we have noticed many differences. Products are more salty and greasy and the menu changes frequently. Last time, at our local smashburger in Hicksville NY we were very disappointed. Upon arrival I noticed the menu changed once again r

that is the second time in three months. I was hoping to order a chicken salad

However, they only had one chicken sandwich and a cobb salad option. Creating a salad didn't seem to be an option either (according to the cashier). So I ordered my usally the Colorado Double. Unfortunately, My order was extremely greasy and weighed down with Mayo. The Patty is greasy enough adding the mayo was just too much. When I placed my order. I specifically asked for extra greens lettuce, peppers and pickles since I couldn't have a salad. When I got my order it the lettuce was soaked mayo. The brisket was extremely greasy and thickly cut as well. My husband and I did not have time to stick around to reorder or complain to management about this issue. This is the second time this has happened to us. This time we had sour stomachs afterward.

Sad to say our local Smashburger has Drastically decreased in quality and Efficiency. The care in the kitchen is there recently...in the past everything was fresh and tasty. Not soggy and heavy. I have to say even the French fries are extra greasy these days

Lastly, no one checked in with us at the table to see if the order was correct or ask if the food was okay. Which was odd. That has happened every other time we dined in. They establishment wasnt even busy?
