SkipTheDishes our order was delivered to the wrong address

We ordered from McDonalds 12.46 am Sunday morning store #29715 transaction#79GPL4BHPB Delivery33521 The order total was 28.76 .A neighbour came to me at 11.45 am and asked if we ordered Mc Donalds last night because there is a bag sitting on Our 96 year old neighbours front door and they knew She would not order . So needless to say everything is garbage now .What can we do about this Thank You I dont feel i should pay for nothing. My address number is clearly visible and all outdoor lights were on. Thanks

SkipTheDishes Delivery from Zorba the Greek

Ordered around 5 pm

My order approved after checkout

In tracking I saw driver on way to restaurant

Next thing I get a message saying order cancelled and no delivery until Mon (WTH?)

I checked and $39 has come out my account

I checked my skip account and it showed a Credit of $40 - does this mean I can order something else? I don’t have the $39/40 in my account so I need to know what I already paid will used towards some other food

SkipTheDishes To be heard and to be refunded in actual cash.

The worse food delivery service ever. I have given this company a try more times then I should have, and it has rarely been even a passably good service. The food is more often then not delivered to the wrong address. And when it has been delivered it has been an extremely long weight, more then 1hr up to 2hrs 15 mins late. Then also they don't often ring the doorbell to let me know it's arrived. My food has arrived on a few occasions looking as if it has been dropped, food falling out on the ground and my drinks spilled. Refund isn't giving as they say if requested it too many times. I will never use this service again and I'm going to be sure to not only not recommend it but to file as many official complaints as possible. SKIP IS BEYOND TERRIBLE.

SkipTheDishes Skip The Dishes

I ordered a meal from McDonald's via Skip The Dishes (STD) on August 28, 2002 at 6.29PM. The tracking system on STD's website showed that the delivery driver was at my door about 15 or 20 minutes later. I waited at the door of my apartment for the driver as people in the building frequently let delivery drivers in.

In the meantime, the delivery driver did NOT call me to announce his arrival, nor use the buzzer panel to have me let him in the building. After waiting about five to seven minutes, I went down to the lobby to check to see if the driver was there or if my order had been left in the lobby or the entrance area where the buzzer panel is located. The driver wasn't there, and neither was my order.

I complained to STD support. They were slow to respond and wanted me to wait for their internal team to investigate the matter. Meanwhile, I'm hungry and have no food. Then they wanted to credit my account and reorder through the same McDonald's and have the same delivery driver deliver the food.

The support technician stated they contacted the driver to find out why my food hadn't been delivered but couldn't reach him.

I told the support agent I wasn't interested in having the driver deliver cold food. I also stated I wanted a refund. Support tech agreed to refund my money but warned me I would have to wait 10 days for the money to show up in my bank account. Nice. So STD gets to sit on my money and earn interest on it.

Desired outcome: The STD support technician shouldn't have wasted time investigating and instead should have contacted the restaurant so my order could be immediately replaced. I'll be publishing a video on Youtube warning people not to use Skip The Dishes.

SkipTheDishes Thermal bag

Hi team,

I had registered for skip the dishes as a driver 17th August.

As I was new to the place and did not the policy, I registered in a different location from my home as it was only half an hour away and I thought I'd commute to the location.

Upon purchasing the thermal bag and paying for background check they denied as there I'd address discrepancy from my home and delivering location.

As soon as I received this message on Aug 17th 2022, I sent a mail to the team asking for a refund and not to process my bag request.

Bag got delivered last Friday, I'm not sure why I need the bag when I'm not working for the company.

Bag delivered from Amazon,when Amazon itself has a return and refund policy in place I'm not sure what's the challenge here.

My spouse who is a student paid for this and we request you to please help in refunding the amount back.

We can send back the bag as we haven't opened at all.

Please help.

SkipTheDishes Order not received and payment made

On Friday August 12 2022 I placed an order to Wine Rack of 16 Growers cans to 3160 Wildwood . I received the text that courier was on way but never received my order or got a call they were at the apartment. On the ground level next to front door so could see if someone came to the door. I checked all entrances for order but was not received. I was just looking over my banking and had seen I was charged 71 and change for order that was not received. I figured the driver didn't make it or couldn't find the apartment so left.

Contact the skipdishes chat and the guy said because it's been over 48 hours he can do nothing.

SkipTheDishes My bank card was used and charged over $2000.00 dollars in purchases I did not authorize

Hi,

My cibc bank card was used in 2021 in the month of april, may and june. Someone used my bank card information and charged over $2000.00 in skip the dishes. I have contacted cibc bank several times and no body will help me with this. I stayed at the big 6 motel in sannich bc and can only think that is were my bank card was comprimised but my bank will not even look into this.

SkipTheDishes Delivery

The order was about 2 hour lates. I couldn't cancel. I couldn't contact anybody. August 12, 2022 at 4:30PM. I contacted the restaurant (Hanabi) after I noticed the app's time update wasn't moving. They said the order had been ready since 5:20 and that there was no driver. I said I would get it myself. I went to the restaurant at 6PM to get it. When I got there they said that the driver came so they gave him the order. The driver made another stop before mine so I got the order at 6:30PM. This is unacceptable and I want a refund. Not only was the food obviously cold but skip the dishes lied about the estimated time it would take. They should not be in business.

SkipTheDishes Skip driver parking in handycap parking spot

Young east Indian woman ignored me when I asked her if she was supposed to be parked in a handicap spot at St Louis restaurant at 6485 Mississauga road, Friday August 12th at 5:50 p.m. . When I asked her to move her vehicle she swore at me in front of customers inside of the restaurant. she then drove off when the management asked her to move her vehicle.

I have a photo of her vehicle parked in the handicap spot along with her license plate information.

Desired outcome: If she is not a reflection of the skip the dishes drivers she, should be banned from driving skip the dishes indefinitely. Very disrespectful and rude young woman.

SkipTheDishes Fraudulent activity

Someone has been using my TD Access Card ending in #3668 to pay for meals using funds from my account. This card has now cancelled. This activity has been reported to the TD Bank Fraud Dept.

Here are the list of transactions om my TD Acciunt.

Aug 9 $ 17.25

Aug 9 $ 59.67

Aug 10 $ 38.97

Total $139.77

Please arrange to have these funds refunded asap. I am a senior on a fixed income and my resources are limited. I don't know how this person got a hold of my number. I am very careful. I am not a customer of Skipthedishes.

SkipTheDishes Delivery of food

I placed an order through Skip on August 5th for the office. I was tracking the order and it said the driver was 4 minutes away. Approximately 5 minutes after that I was notified that the delivery had been made. This would not be a problem but for the fact that no one came into the office to drop off food. I went outside and found it on the cement sidewalk approximately 3 feet away from our door. Our office is located in a plaza where there is a lot of foot traffic and anyone could have walked by and picked up our order. If the driver was reluctant to enter the office, a call advising that it was outside would have been the correct thing to do. Additionally, we have double entry, so even if he went through the first set of doors, I would have seen him and he could have left it in the vestibule. Instead, it was just left on a dirty sidewalk.

I have had non delivery of orders here at the office before and it makes me wonder if the person who "delivered" the food did the same thing and just left it outside.

This is not acceptable by any standards.

Desired outcome: I would like an explanation as to why the food was left outside of a business on a busy, dirty cement sidewalk. We pay a premium for the food & tip the courier rather generously. In this instance, he did not deserve his tip.

SkipTheDishes Several charges on my credit card

I have never used Skip the Dishes but for some reason you have my credit card number in your system. I live 1 hour out of town and no-one is going to deliver Skip the dishes out to me. I have contacted my credit card company and they reversed the first 2 charges that I found on my statement. Now I have several more charges July 30 for 54.20, July 31 for 67.58 Aug 1 for 62.64, Aug 2 for 40.04. None of these charges are mine and I would like to know how to stop your company from charging my credit card in error or worse yet fraudulently.

SkipTheDishes Purchase items on my bank account but not my transactions.

On my BMO account, 2 debit items on July 29/22 for the amount of $41.79 and $27.71 were posted. The items are 'pending'. BMO rep advised me to call you directly since they are not posted to my account yet. BMO cannot do anything at this time. Please help investigate and rectify the error. Thank you.

SkipTheDishes Restaurant service

On the skip tracker - Order was placed at 7:01. it showed the courier collected the order at 7:35 and it is now 7:55 and the car is still at the restaurant location. The restaurant is 30 seconds from my house (on the same street). I have screen shots that would love to send. The order changed to being ordered at 7:57. We got a call from the restaurant at 7:58 apologizing about the lateness of the order. They said we will get a 15% discount next time we order from them. No coupon, nothing on our skip account. SkipTheDishes Charged for order that was not delivered

On Sun. July 17/22 I ordered a sub from Subway. The order was filled at the Armview Subway. After the delivery man left there with my order it was later than it should have been for him to deliver my order. I received a phone call from the driver saying he couldn't find me. He was actually just a 2 min. drive from me. I gave him directions while he kept saying his computer was telling him he was already there. He was actually at a Pharmacy. Then he told me if he couldn't find me I would get my money back. I told him I wanted the sub as it was my supper. To make a long story shorter, I never saw or heard from him again. I did not get my order but, I was charged for it on my credit card. This is the fourth time I have written a complaint but nothing has changed, not even to receive a notification that you received the complaint. I then used one of your competitors delivery services and received my sub. However, there was an error on my charge card from them as well. However, when I contacted them, they answered right away and worked with me until they were able to correct the matter. I hope you will be as professional in righting this error. SkipTheDishes Skip the Dishes - delivery

July 26, 2022 at around 10pm.

My order was approximately 1 hour late. It was late night and zero traffic and no reason was given for the delay. It should have arrived within 25min (even though at that time, in our town, you can get to the location of the driver from where I was in 15).

The food when arrived was not simply warm-- it was so cold and congealed that it was un-edible even after re-heating.

All the other times this happened, I understood why. No problem. But this time I really would have liked *something*, whether it's an explanation, or some compensation, even a $1 credit, considering the order was not cheap. I did not think I'd be throwing down so much money down the drain.

I started a chat to talk to someone (I have their name but won't post it, though I can provide it if someone asks). They basically entered the chat and then closed it without offering any assistance, or even an explanation like "Sorry about this but we can't do anything."

Even an 'automated' message would be better than just shutting down my complaint.

I don't think it's an unreasonable request, especially if they want a repeat customer. They'd get that money back from me within a short time (and if keeping me as a customer, they'd make a lot more anyway), so I don't see the big deal.

SkipTheDishes Refund refused for missing items from our order.

Contacted customer support via email to request a refund for items we did not receive in our order but paid for.

Got an email back stating no refund would be issued for any missing items.

Didn't understand this at all , so logged into my account online and talked to live chat.

They said they would refund me for the items missing from our order, then they came back and said because I have had some issues in the past with orders, that they can no longer offer me any refund for my missing items, and then promptly closed the chat?!?!?

I don't care how many orders I have had issues with, there is no way you should be able to make me pay for food I did not get, missing items is something I paid for but did not receive!

What right does Skip have to tell me no refund?!?

How do you not refund someone for items they did not get?!?!? I don't understand what any previous orders has to do with missing items from this order, how can you NOT refund missing items!?!?

SkipTheDishes I am complaining about your driver

I would like to complain about your driver with license plate CFDL 800 Hyundai Elantra, grey colour

He was delivering food to 115 Long Branch in Toronto on July 19 at 2:15pm

He parked without consideration to others, so other car was not able to park. When I asked him to move so I can parallel park behind him. He told me to wait. He dropped off his food and I waited for him to move the car. When I asked him to be more considerate next time and not to take two space he started to shout at me. There was no reason to shout

I asked him to stop screaming at me be he never did, he kept yelling at at in his own language I took picture of his license plate as a proof who I was talking to. Not sure why but he did the same.

When I was walking away he kept screaming in his own language.

Desired outcome: This is abusive/harassment behaviour. He needs to know this is not allowed in Canada. I strongly recommend workplace harassment training and training how to be park, where to work and teach him consideration to others.
