Shoe Station Skecher shoe have a manufacture flaw

Skecher shoe have a manufacture flaw. The soles disintergrated in less that 12 month. We want and exchange. Shoe station is ignoring our complaint. My wife bought a pair of Skecher shoes from the Shoe Station about a year ago. She wore them last summer for about 3 or 4 weeks. She put then in their box and opened the box this May. The soles of both shoes have disintergrated. This is the result of a manufacture defect, not user misuse.The tops are in new condition. I noticed that the box had a price originally of $110. There were 3 stickers on the box with the last price being $59.99. When we returned them to the store, the manager said that it was an old model that had been discontinued. It made me think that the shoes may have been on the self for a long period of time, perhaps over a year or more. My wife wants the store to replace the defective shoes. The Shoe Station says no.
