ShockWarehouse.com review: Bad part poor customer service

I purchased shocks in November of 22.
I started installing the parts in Jan 23. spare time restoration project.
One of the shocks wouldn't open (they were held in a compressed state with a wire for shipping.
These are new in the box shocks. I had to use a screw driver to pry it open, couldn't get the shock to open more than an inch. I called Rancho, the manufacturer and they said to seek a replacement from whom I purchased them. I got through the 1st time I called, spoke with Carlos, he seemed quite helpful.
He asked for a photo. I sent a photo of old shock and the two new shocks. One being the bad one that wouldn't open or expand. After several days I had not receiving a reply and sent an email asking for an update. That email received no reply. I called the main number and no one answers.
I found a non 1-800 number and called and left a message, asking for a returned call.
There is no response to emails, no response to a voice mail. No one answers the phones now. From my number at least. The manufacturer basically said sorry it sucks to be you, they will not warranty a product directly to a retail purchaser.

Desired outcome: the bad (new in the box) part be replaced
