The workers seem to be forced to say "hello welcome to sheets" upon every entry. I find it demeaning to them. Most of us that use your stations are very familiar with these employees. It seems generic and forced and I doubt they like it. I have better chats during ring up on my way out because a lot of your employees do pay attention and get to know us on a personal level. I go into several stations as I am an construction inspector and drive very far for sites in and around clearfield county pa. A few of your employees even remember our little ring up chats about how my parents are doing and my family business. Not sure if you have watched a movie called idiocracy.. Where the guy says "welcome to costco I love you" maybe check it out. In summary stop telling them they have to welcome everyone in. If they feel the need let them do to it naturally. Otherwise its just demeaning and I find it insulting to them.
Desired outcome: more respect for your employees.
