On Sept 1st at 7am ish I needed gas and stopped at Sheetz instead of the Shell station at RDU galleria. Big mistake stopping at Sheetz. I selected pay at the pump from the app and used my debit card. Gas never dispensed after two attempts. I did however notice that Sheetz e-commerce debited my account $100 for each attempt. As we all know this authorizations drop pretty quickly when unused. Sheetz has fraudulently held on to my funds for an entire week with no resolution.
Beware of fraudulent pay at the pump! It’s their way of using your money for their selfish aims!
Recommendation: Beware of Sheetz Pay at the Pump using the Sheetz App. It’s a trap to secure your funds and sit on them as long as they can!!!
