My taxes were done on turbo tax and sent to the Santa Barbara tax group and I am unable to speak to them after months of tracing by the IRS

First I used this company again against my better judgment and they overcharged me $117 for filing with them. Then they switched my routing number and account number for my DD. My DD was 2/22. It got rejected. Now it is 3/4 with no check from them and nobody answers email or phone calls. I have never had this happen TurboTax, TPG, i dont care who but somebody needs to make sure this gets rectified. This is people's bills and livelihood they are messing with.

My husband should have gotten his refund 2/24, but he didn’t, with no real explanation for why. So, they’re mailing a check, but I’ve been told that it was already mailed, would mail 2/28, would mail on 3/1, I can’t get a straight answer from anyone. If you call the refund phone line, it just tells you whatever that days date is as the date it was mailed. This feels criminal. It shouldn’t be that hard to give me a time frame on when I should expect this money. If I don’t a straight answer soon, I’m gonna get my lawyer involved. With gas prices going through the roof, as well as the prices of everything else a lot of people are depending on this money.

IRS funded on 2/18/22 sbtg tried to send to my bank and my error account number called SBTG with no success of speaking to a real person the automated system states check mailed out speak to someone and they have no info. I will report them to IRS and already filed a complaint with BBB. I feel if you received your money then you should send me mine the amount stated on your automated system nothing less. Everyone should get their money that they worked hard for especially during these hard times Pandemic

Hell my name is Kayla. I have had the worst income tax return experience ever with this company. My taxes were released to this company on 2/28. No return was deposited into my checking account. I called & was on hole for over 3 hours waiting to speak to a representative. I was told there was a hold placed on my funds due to the large dollar amount & that I needed to send a picture of the front & back of my ID. I did so & they told me it took 24/72 hours for my ID to be verified & the hold to be released. Ok , on 2/26 I called back & they verified the hold was removed that my funds would be released the following Monday ;2/28 (because the IRS Only have them until Tuesday March 1st for me to have my funds ). No funds were released on 2/28. I called on March 1st was told there was a glitch in their system with my hold , that the issue was being resolved & my funds would be released to my tax preparer no later than this morning 3/4. I called back this morning because of course , no funds were released. Now they are saying they are waiting on my hold to be released. The SAME hold that was handled & removed on last Saturday. At this point they are just coming up with a ton of excuses not to release my income tax return. I have reached out to my lawyer & am taking legal action. This is ridiculous. I have children & they are intentionally just holding my funds because they feel that they CAN. I will not sit back & watch them steal from me. I will never use this company again and I will make sure to make this issue as big as possible & make sure it gets as much exposure as possible.

This company is horrible I don’t understand how this is happening to so many people and nothing has been done how can they hold people tax refund with no explanation after calling customer service no one can give you answers to anything I was told that they don’t have managers and the printers were broke I will not be filing with turbo tax again they don’t have answers either

TPG has had my refund since 2/23 per their own website and IRS. No contact has been made with me and they DO NOT answer their phones, at least when it doesn't disconnect you. No responses. My refund is in "reserve" without cause. Turbotax tax is super unhelpful.

They basically holding my money hostage since 2-24 my car bout to be repo and rent two months behind and if I loose anything I’m opening a federal lawsuit watch they doing this on purpose stilling money !

Irs sent my money on the 16th and I have not gotten my money. been calling and waiting for hours on end and sometimes they hang up or call drops when i do get someone get told my account doubled one has the money the other has the fees and that they are working on fixing the issue but its been more than 12 days when will i get my money. so many ppl having problems with this company. I need my money urgently just like everyone else I am currently on my 3rd round of over 2 hours wait time today someone please fix this issue.

I filed 2021 Federal Tax Return using Turbo Tax/Intuit on 02-07-2022

I received a reduced amount of my refund direct deposited to my bank account on 03-01-2022 with no explanation nor specifics as to the reduced amount.

Following thru the comments and concerns made on the Intuit Mint discussions, it appears that the responses from from SBTPG are inadequate, as well as the responses from Turbo Tax/Intuit and the IRS.

Why is your company SBTPG deducting portions of refunds due?

Why are these refunds not coming directly from the IRS?

When will this be resolved?

When will your company make a responsible statement of accountability?

I appear to not be the only person this is happening to.

I look froward to a representative contacting me soon for this to be resolved.

I am disappointed

I expected it this morning like Netspend Venmo and Chime users

This is a great disappoint

I should of had it go to my bank account

They received my money Friday 2/25/22 and supposed to send it to cashapp so I can have it by 3/2/22

Well today is 3/2/22 and no deposit

I am livid and I don’t want this company next year

My ddd issued by the irs was for 2/24. My sbtpg account didnt show funded until 2/23 even though their automated system states they received my funding on 2/18. My dd was rejected due to my account being closed. Sbtpg has already gotten my funds back and switched it to a cashiers check but cant tell me when it will be printed or mailed. Every time you call the wait is ridiculous and you always get a different answer from the representatives which makes it hard to know what the truth is in regards to my thousands of dollars. Now after reading all of these complaints I'm starting to realize that I might be screwed. Please just give me my money! I really need it right now just like everyone else.

My client has yet to receive his tax refund as if February 8,2022. TPG is no help and will not follow up with you on issue they have yet to resolve.

Every call takes hours to get a rep on the line. The phone disconnects on you. Still till this day my client doesn’t have his refund.

My client is getting frustrated he thinks I have his tax refund. They keep telling us call back in 72 hours.

On 2/16 the IRS sent my refund to this bank. On 2/22 the website I opened a case through TOG website and the reply stated within 24 hour I would get a response. I sent messages daily up until 2/26 when I finally got a response stating my account duplicated in their systems and they were working hard to fix the matter. I’ve sent them a message everyday since asking how long was the process and if they had an escalation system. Til this day no one has returned my call. The aiRS gave me a number to Civista bank when’re they sent my refund. I called them and as soon as I stated I was calling about my return they told me I had to call TPG. When you call TPG you get an automated system. There’s no way you can speak with a representative. When you send the message they pick and choose when they will respond. When you dealing with money people don’t want to send a message or get an automated system. They want to speak with a live person to get real time assistance. Now I’m still without my refund and yet to receive any answers to how long I have to wait.

i files with taxslayer and whn sbtpg went to deposit my funds my bank rejected the payment because they only put my husbands name on the check and we filed married joint so my bank said no... then i call sbtpg and they said that they were printing my check to be mailed i call check on it to see where it was going or if it in fact was sent out zand now from feb 22 where it states on irs i recived my refund that day adn sbtpg is a little different layout but they know they have my money but they say cheacks start printing march firsdt then i was told by another person no they wont be that it is "sometime" in march

my name is Kristy mayo So I filed my taxes for this year on February 2ed and it also got accepted the same day and when I received them yesterday which was a day or two late doesn’t matter but it wasn’t no where near the amount I was supposed to be refunded when in my documents I have it even says after paying the 2 fees I owed that the balance I was owed on my taxes was suppose to be $1000 which it was not at all close

My refund is 207.00 less than it should be. WHY! My account number [protected]. Feb 24 2022. I amgoing 71 years old I need all my money!

I was cheaped out of my taxes by these people and no one will come to the phone. they took over 1700 from me and didnt deposit none in my account as asked I will be filing a law suit against you

I will file a lawsuit on this company becuz I file my taxes and this company took they fees my refund was funded and I still haven’t received my money people here struggling out here to be waiting for they funds that Santa Barbara already took the funds if you care about your customers you will deposit my refund you will lose a lot of people millions of people for they taxes return

SBTPG claims they do not hold refunds on their website, that they issue them as soon as they get them. However, i was told over the phone they had received my tax refund 2/18/2022 and they weren't going to process it until 2/23/2022. On the processing date, they claim to have sent the refund to the banks but then they say they arent releasing them until end of business day. This is false advertising and i know myself amoung others only used their services based on the claims that they do not hold refunds.
