Dear customer service,
On 2nd January 2026 I went to purchase some items at Sainsbury's Bramingham Park.
When leaving, I proceeded to walk past the bollards as I normally do. While doing this, I hit my right foot and toes really hard on the metal bar that was lying across the walkway as seen in the photo. It was painful but at first I did'nt think much of it so I drove home which is 5 mins away. A few minutes later my right foot started to feel sore and thought this does'nt feel right. In fact, that bar is a health and safety hazard so I actually went back there to take photos as seen attached and to make you aware of this incident. I did try calling the Bramingham Park customer service but no answer. Perhaps closed as it was late in the evening. I have my receipt as proof that I had made a purchase at that time and day.
Its the weekend so no access to a GP but I will see how it goes if things get worse by Monday.
In the meantime, I'm not sure what your procedures are with regards to a situation like this. Someone else could have tripped and actually fallen in front of a moving vehicle. One could say why I did'nt see it, but its dark at that spot and sometimes if things are on your mind you don't particularly expect to have an obstruction so low on the ground at a spot where people are walking.
