I gave Safeway Tax some cash to check out my taxes and get all my tax papers for the years I filed and didn't file. Mr. *** said it would cost me $4500 for phase 1, $1500 for phase 2, and they'd figure out phase 3 later. But that was all a lie. The IRS gave me my papers for free, and I didn't have to pay any lawyer fees. I signed a thing so they could get my papers, but they didn't get everything for 2021, and they said I needed a w2 to keep going. But I don't have one, and they said they'd call me back. I want my $495 back, plus the taxes.

Where do I start! So I've been dealing with the IRS back and fourth for the last few years. I saw Safeways ad on google, clicked on it, and got contacted by an Emily. She seemed smart and calming so I naturally felt compelled to become a client. She kept me updated the entire way with phone calls, emails and letters. the process did take a few months but definitely worth getting the headache off the table.

Client service is 9.5/10. The most satisfactory experience involving what is among the most dissatisfying and stressful things in life (taxes) that I've ever had. I'd even go so far as to say it was enjoyable. Filing a Dispute after 8 Months March 16, 2022 - We are going on eight months using Safeway to help with our tax debt. A lot of nothing has happened along the way. Lack of communication, updates, or accurate explanations. After begging and pleading for some word on our case their final word is to set up a payment plan for $325.00 per month for eight years. If that is your final answer, then we could have done that ourselves through the IRS portal. So we are still waiting on an explanation of what you actually did on our case during the eight months that we kept accruing further interest and penalties. Our advice, stay away. Zero Stars Filing a Dispute to get some of our money back but still no response from anyone. We didn't expect our tax debt to go away, but we did expect you to try and help us as you stated on your website and speaking with Mark over the phone. We just made a bad choice and trusted the wrong Tax Relief company.
