As many others have complained, I too was somehow signed up for a monthly subscription I never selected. My initial order on October 26, 2023 does not indicate a subscription selection on my part. I contacted Ryze to request a refund and Mr. Alex Crusoe, who is a very smooth talking and cordial salesperson, sent me "proof" that I had selected a subscription purchase by sending a screenshot of some backend user/data portal. I am attaching a screenshot of my initial October 26, 2023, purchase, which shows not a subscription purchase, but a one-time purchase. Attached is also the subsequent unauthorized November purchase. I initially gave Mr. Crusoe the benefit of the doubt, and his numerous lengthy emails attempting to persuade me of the virtues of the product were both sort of killing me with kindness and also distracting me from the fact that . As of today, Alex has "paused" my subscription, despite repeatedly asking him to cancel it, so that I might try the product with creamer (perhaps even their own probiotic creamer, which he graciously provided a purchase link to) or in different recipes, which he thoughtfully also linked). In summary, I have contacted Ryze and been unable to obtain a refund for an unauthorized purchase or to cancel my "subscription" despite repeated emails over the last month. I see that the website says they accept returns, therefore, I would like to return both of these bags of Ryze, the first I tried in October and did not like, as well as the second I never ordered.

Claimed loss: $63.00 (see attached receipts)

Desired outcome: Subscription cancellation, refund of unauthorized November 2023 purchase, return of October 2023 purchase (please send a return label and I will gladly return the product).

Thanks for your review, although we’re so sorry to hear about your experience. We never intended to frustrate you with our return/refund and cancellation process. Rest assured, we’re doing everything possible to make this right for you!

From our records, it appears that you selected a monthly recurring purchase (not one-time) when you first ordered on Oct 20th. We provide several disclaimers on our website explaining the details of the auto-ship service. We were also in touch 3 days before the latest shipment was scheduled to process to double-check that it was okay to send the new order through. But don’t worry, we understand that it wasn’t your intention to sign up for auto-ships, so we’ve already canceled your subscription entirely going forward. We’ve also processed a FULL REFUND on the latest order. Please check your inbox for an email confirmations of the refund and cancellation.

We understand you’d like to return the first order as you didn’t enjoy it. That being said, we’ve also processed the full refund for your first order so please note that you’ll be receiving another refund notification for this. Feel free to keep the opened bag, there’s no need for you to return it. You may share it with your family/friends so they can try RYZE themselves, or you may throw it away if you’d like. However, we’ve already sent you the return label for the most recent order, so please check your inbox for more details and instructions. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
