Dear Royal Mail Complaints Team,
I am writing to raise a serious and urgent complaint regarding the repeated mis delivery of mail intended for my address for many months. This issue has been ongoing for some time and is now causing significant and unacceptable consequences.
My post is frequently being delivered to the wrong property, and neighbours have had to return items to me on multiple occasions. This is not an isolated incident but a consistent pattern of service failure.
Most concerning is that high‑importance and time‑sensitive correspondence has been misdelivered, including:
Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs)
Debt recovery letters
Letters from The Pensions Regulator
These documents carry legal, financial, and regulatory implications. Receiving them late due to Royal Mail’s delivery errors puts me at risk of penalties, missed deadlines, and potential non‑compliance with statutory obligations. This situation is entirely unacceptable and has already caused avoidable stress and administrative burden.
I request an immediate investigation into the delivery route and the conduct of the delivery staff responsible for my area. I expect a clear explanation of how this repeated misdelivery has been allowed to continue and what corrective measures will be implemented to ensure accurate delivery going forward.
Please provide a written response confirming the actions Royal Mail will take to resolve this matter. If this issue persists, I will escalate the complaint to the Postal Review Panel and, if necessary, the Ombudsman.
