I sent a Christmas card with an enclosed £30 Waitrose voucher to my Mother-in-Law. She received an envelope with an attached printed note from the Post Office saying ‘Sorry’ if anything is missing please contact us. The card was posted in my local post box. Obviously it got to her minus the card & the Waitrose voucher. I am now trying to get Waitrose to stop the voucher when it is used by the person that stole it. Obviously Royal Mail Staff member. I will NEVER make the mistake again of posting such an item as it’s very easy pickings for Staff members. No, there will be nothing you can do about this. Perhaps vet your Christmas staff better.
Claimed loss: £30. It was a Waitrose voucher that was stolen.
Desired outcome: Refund.
